Objective: Early clinical performance of Ovarian Cancer(OC)is not typical, its prognosis depends on timely diagnosis, appropriate surgery and systematic treatment, improve the early diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer clinical treatment has an extremely important significance. The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical application effect of four Risk of malignancy index(RMI)in differentiating ovarian malignancy from ovarian benign tumor before operation. Methods: From January 2015 to January 2020 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical College,90 cases of patients diagnosed as benign ovarian tumor by postoperative pathology,72 cases of patients diagnosed as borderline pathology and 79 cases of patients diagnosed as malignant ovarian tumor were selected for retrospective study. To investigate the clinical application effect of four malignant tumor risk indices(RMI)in preoperative differentiation between malignant and benign ovarian tumors; The effect of borderline tumors in malignant and benign groups on RMI diagnostic efficiency was calculated respectively.Preoperative doppler ultrasonography, cancer antigen 125(CA125),and menopausal status were reviewed. The differences in Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)and Area Under the Curve(AUC)of RMI1,RMI2,RMI3 and RMI4 in the preoperative diagnosis of malignant and benign tumors were calculated and analyzed. Results: There were statistically significant differences in the 4 RMI of benign, borderline and malignant ovarian tumors(P < 0.05),and the pairable comparison between groups showed that the malignant RMI of 4 kinds were significantly higher than that of borderline and benign ovarian tumors.Receiver operating Curve(ROC)analysis showed that the Area Under the Curve(AUC)of RMI1,RMI2,RMI3 and RMI4 were 0.751,0.898,0.895 and 0.894,respectively,for benign and malignant ovarian tumors, and the AUC of RMI1,RMI2,RMI3 and RMI4 were 0.717,0.849,0.849 and 0.844,respectively,for border ovarian tumors in malignant group. The AUC of RMI1,RMI2,RMI3 and RMI4 in ovarian borderline tumors were 0.693,0.797,0.791 and 0.792 in benign group, respectively. Conclusion: The four RMI types have statistical significance in predicting benign and malignant ovarian tumors, and the predictive value of RMI2 is higher.RMI was more effective in diagnosis of borderline tumors than in benign borderline tumors.
