In recent years,the prevalence of cancer has been on the rise.As a major traumatic event,cancer often leads to a series of negative emotional reactions,such as traumatic stress events(PTSD)and anxiety.This study first reviewed the research status of cognitive behavioral therapy on post-traumatic stress disorder intervention,cognitive behavioral therapy on cancer patients with negative emotion intervention and cancer patients’ psychological status of the literature.Based on the method of cognitive behavioral therapy,this study combined with the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder,anxiety,understanding of social support and hope level of one patient with double cancer,namely gastric cancer and thyroid cancer,to form a targeted short-range intervention program and conduct a case study.In this study,the subjects were suffering from gastric cancer and thyroid cancer,and they were prone to emotional agitation,inability to concentrate,panic reaction and inability to sleep in the past six months.Therefore,this study subjects of cognition,behavior and mood problems as a starting point,from establish trust to learn to recognize and evaluate automatic thinking,correct cognition,developed and consolidated a new correct cognition,to form a new behavior model,a total of seven times intervention,intervention to retest after a week and a month after comming back..The following scales were used in this study: Life Event Scale(LES),Self-Rating Post-traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD),Baker Anxiety Scale(BAI),Perception Social Support Scale(PSSS),and Herth Hope Index.Measurements were taken before and after the intervention,and mood checks were performed during the intervention.The post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)self-rating scale(PTSD)scores were reduced after the intervention with a total score of 100 before the intervention,77 one week after the intervention,and 67 one month after the intervention.Subjects’ scores on the Baker Anxiety Scale(BAI)decreased.The scores of PSSS and Herth Hope Index were significantly increased.The subjects’ flashback,avoidance,anxiety and other symptoms were significantly improved,and the comprehension of social support and the level of hope were improved.In order to control the practice effect and self-expectation effect in the process of case study,30 patients with double cancer were tested by PTSD Self-rating Scale(PTSD),Baker Anxiety Scale(BAI),Perception Social Support Scale(PSSS),Herth Hope Index,etc.Thirteen double-cancer patients with PTSD symptoms and anxiety were informed of the retest after 7 weeks,and 9 double-cancer patients were retest after 7 weeks.The results indicated that there was significant difference between the scores obtained from the pre-test and post-test of the scale of the nine double-cancer patients.It indicates that there are practice effect and self-expectation effect in the process of this study,and under the control of these effects,the research goal of this case is basically achieved.Through this case study,the subjects’ post-traumatic stress disorder self-rating(PTSD)scores were significantly improved,and the symptoms of PTSD were significantly improved.And the participants in this study also received psychological support through this study.
