Objective:Based on the theory of positive psychology and the framework of PERMA model, this study developed a positive psychological intervention program for patients with postoperative chemotherapy of gastric cancer, and explored the effects of the program on positive and negative emotions, resilience and quality of life of patients with postoperative chemotherapy of gastric cancer,so as to increase positive emotional experience, relieve negative emotions, improve psychological stress ability, and improve the quality of life of patients with postoperative chemotherapy of gastric cancer,so as to improve their quality of life and provide a theoretical basis for further positive psychological intervention of PERMA model in cancer patients. Methods:By convenience sampling method, patients with gastric cancer undergoing postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in gastrointestinal surgery department of a tertiary hospital in Jiangxi Province from July 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the experimental group and the control group by tossing a coin. Finally, patients in the fifth ward of general surgery were selected as the experimental group and patients in the seventh ward of general surgery were selected as the control group. There were 90 cases, with 45 cases in each group. Two groups of patients dropped out due to illness, personal factors,a total of 7cases,the final effective cases were 83 cases,42 cases in the control group,41 cases in the experimental group. The control group received routine nursing, while the experimental group received positive psychological intervention of PERMA model on the basis of routine nursing,7 times a week,30~50 minutes each time. The positive and negative emotion scale,Resilience Scale and quality of life scale of cancer patients were used to evaluate the emotional state, resilience and quality of life of patients with gastric cancer after chemotherapy before intervention(before the first chemotherapy)and after intervention(during the third chemotherapy).Results:1.Comparison of general information between the two groups:there was no significant difference in general information between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),which was comparable.2.Comparison between the two groups before intervention:there was no significant difference in the scores of positive emotion, negative emotion and positive rate between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05);There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the total score and each dimension of resilience(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in the scores of overall quality of life, functional dimension and symptom dimension between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).3.Intra group comparison between the two groups before and after the intervention:compared with before the intervention, there was no significant difference in positive emotion, negative emotion and positive rate in the control group after the intervention(P>0.05),but the total score of resilience and the score of each dimension were improved, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the scores of role function, cognitive function, social function, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, anorexia and constipation in quality of life were significantly higher(P<0.05)and there was no significant difference in overall quality of life and other dimensions(P>0.05)in the control group after the intervention;Compared with before intervention, there were significant differences in positive emotion, negative emotion and positive rate in the experimental group after intervention(P<0.05),and the total score and each dimension score of resilience were improved after intervention(P<0.05),and the overall quality of life, physical function, role function, emotional function, cognitive function, social function, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, anorexia and constipation were significantly different(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in shortness of breath, diarrhea and economic difficulties in the experimental group after intervention(P>0.05).4.Comparison between the two groups after intervention:the positive emotion and positive rate, the total score and each dimension score of psychological resilience, the overall quality of life and physical function, role function, emotional function and social function of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After the intervention, the dimensions of negative emotion, fatigue and insomnia in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of cognitive function, nausea and vomiting, pain, shortness of breath, anorexia, constipation, diarrhea and economic difficulties in the experimental group were not significantly different from those in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Based on the theory of positive psychology and the framework of PERMA model, this study developed a positive psychological intervention program based on PERMA model according to literature review, expert consultation and pre experiment, and took face-to-face+online combination as the organizational form of intervention implementation, aiming to improve the positive experience of gastric cancer patients with postoperative chemotherapy, enhance their psychological resilience and improve their quality of life, emphasizing on the supervision and feedback of patients, the intervention program is scientific and feasible.2.In this study, seven times of positive psychological intervention of PERMA mode has significant effect on improving the positive emotional experience, psychological stress ability and quality of life of patients with gastric cancer after chemotherapy, which is helpful to improve the physical function, role function, social function and emotional function of patients with gastric cancer after chemotherapy, and relieve the symptoms of fatigue and insomnia.3.The positive psychological intervention program based on PERMA model provides a new way to improve the positive emotional experience, psychological stress ability and quality of life of patients with gastric cancer after chemotherapy, which has a certain clinical value.
