Objective:Using the concept and methods of peer support,this paper discusses the role of "peer training" intervention combined with professional rehabilitation guidance in the self-care ability and psychosocial adaptability of spinal cord injury patients,and analyzes and popularizes the model.The disabled service will be more refined and diversified.Methods:This study was an experimental study,and 102 patients with spinal cord injury in a Grade A hospital in Jiangxi Province were selected as the research subjects.In the control group,52 cases,50 cases in the test group,the control group was mainly family care,and the intervention group was selected to carry out peer training intervention on the basis of the control group.Before the intervention of the two groups,the intervention for 3 months and the intervention for 6 months three time nodes respectively assessed the patient’s improved Barthel index,psychological resilience,and autonomous participation.By using the statistical analysis of SPSS 26.0.To explore the effect of "peer training" intervention on improving self-care ability,returning to self and restarting life.Results:Among the 102 patients,52 in the control group and 50 in the experimental group,there was no significant difference in the general data of age,course of disease,sex,marital status,education level,injury cause,injury type,injury plane,injury degree,family caregivers,work before injury between the two groups.(P>0.05)There was no significant difference in the scores of improved Barthel between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05),and the scores of improved Barthel in the test group were significantly higher than those in the control group at 3 month and 6months of intervention(P>0.05).It shows that peer training program intervention promotes the improvement of patients’ daily life ability.The analysis of variance of repeated measurements showed the interaction between time and intervention effect(F=3.624,P=0.030)There was no significant difference in psychological elasticity score between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).The psychological elasticity score of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group at 3 month and 6 months of intervention(P>0.05).Analysis of variance showed that time and intervention effect interacted(F=8.100,P>0.001),indicating that time factors differed from group to group.Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the total score and dimension score between the two groups(P>0.05);after 3 months and 6 months of intervention,the test group and the control group had significant difference in the total score of autonomous participation and the scores of four dimensions of indoor autonomous participation,family role,outdoor autonomous participation and social life(P>0.05);the time and intervention of the two groups had interaction in the total score of autonomous participation and indoor autonomous participation,family role,outdoor autonomous participation and social life(P>0.05).This indicates that the time factor will vary according to the different intervention methods of the two groups.Conclusion:1.peer training intervention program significantly improve the ability of daily activities of injured friends in spinal cord injury;2.Peer training intervention program to promote the level of psychological resilience of injured friends;3.The level of social participation of injured people in spinal cord injury after peer training intervention was obviously improved;4.Peer training program to improve the employment rate of injured friends in spinal cord injury to achieve self-poverty.
