Objective: To compare and study the clinical characteristics of suppurative meningitis in Tibetan children in Tibet,in order to achieve the following goals: 1.To analyze the main pathogenic bacteria, complications, sequelae and the causes of poor prognosis of cerebromeningitis in Xizang, and to put forward scientific and feasible treatment schemes;2.Analyze the correlation between the complications and sequelae caused by each strain and the video electroencephalogram,so as to judge the prognosis of the children by video electroencephalogram in the early stage;3.Analyze the correlation between age, gender, altitude, season and other factors and the research object, summarize the different characteristics of this kind of disease in Xizang region, and guide the clinical treatment;METHODS: The clinical data of 86 children with pururative meningitis from Tibet Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from July 2018 to July 2020 were retrospectively analyzed and their clinical characteristics were analyzed. Results: Eight kinds of pathogenic bacteria were cultured in cerebrospinal fluid and peripheral blood, including Streptococcus pneumoniae,Haemophilus influenzae,Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus epidermidis,Coagulase-negative Staphylococcus,Salmonella paratyphi B serotype,Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. The cerebrospinal fluid biochemical protein, white blood cell count,CRP,PCT and other infection indexes in Streptococcus pneumoniae group were higher than those in other groups, and the total number of routine cerebrospinal fluid cells in Haemophilus influenzae group was higher than those in other groups. The cerebrospinal fluid biochemical examination results of these two pathogens showed that glucose and chloride were lower than those in other groups.Among the children with suppurative meningitis,68 cases(79.07%)were cured and discharged from hospital, and 18 cases(20.93%)were cured. In the cold season of November,December and January, the number of cases of suppurative meningitis was significantly higher than that in the warm season of June,July,August and September.Several common pathogens were sensitive to vancomycin, ceftriaxone, meropenem and other antibiotics. There were significant differences in purulent meningitis between male and female subjects. The number of complications caused by Haemophilus influenzae and Streptococcus pneumoniae in the study subjects was the highest, and the number of complications occurred in the Haemophilus influenzae group.According to the research results of the number of suppurative meningitis cases in different altitude areas, there are differences in the number of suppurative meningitis cases and pathogen spectrum in different altitude areas. From the results of the study, there are differences in common pathogenic bacteria in different age stages. There were different degrees of expression in the video electroencephalogram in children with suppurative meningitis, mainly manifested as three types: occipital rhythm change, spinous wave and diffuse slow wave. For hydrocephalus complications of children with video eeg analysis results show that the major is given priority to with a diffuse slow waves, poor prognosis, subdural effusion in children with through the analysis of video electroencephalogram(eeg)examination results for the occipital rhythm change, spike wave is given priority to,children with hydrocephalus with subdural effusion associated video electroencephalogram(eeg)test results is given priority to with the occipital rhythm change,In children with suppurative meningitis with hydrocephalus, subdural effusion and pyorrhoea, the results of video electroencephalogram test were mainly occipital rhythm and spinous wave.In children with suppurative meningitis without complications, the results of video electroencephalogram test were mainly occipital rhythm change, and the prognosis was relatively good.Streptococcus pneumoniae infection was the highest in children with purulent meningitis, and the incidence of complications and sequelae of Haemophilus influenzae was the highest in children with purulent meningitis. Objective: To compare and study the clinical features of suppurative meningitis in children in Xizang,in order to achieve the following goals:1.To analyze the main pathogenic bacteria, complications, sequelae and the causes of poor prognosis of cerebromeningitis in Tibet area, and to put forward scientific and feasible treatment schemes;2.Analyze the correlation between the complications and sequelae caused by each strain and the video electroencephalogram,so as to judge the prognosis of the children by video electroencephalogram in the early stage;3.Analyze the correlation between age, gender, altitude, season and other factors and the research object, and summarize the different characteristics of children with such diseases in Tibet region,so as to guide the clinical treatment;METHODS: The clinical data of 86 childrens with pururative meningitis from Tibet Autonomous Region People’s Hospital from July 2018 to July2020 were retrospectively analyzed and their clinical characteristics were analyzed. Results: The number of cases of pneumococcal infection in children with purulent meningitis of Tibetan in Tibet was the highest, and the incidence of complications and sequelae of Haemophilus influenzae was the highest.Factors such as age, gender, altitude and season were correlated with the study subjects to a certain extent.
