Objective:To explore the application value of automatic myocardial movement quantitative technique(a CMQ)in monitoring the changes of left and right ventricular function in breast cancer patients after different chemotherapy cycles.Methods:Forty-five cases of newly diagnosed breast cancer patients who received anthracycline-based chemotherapy were enrolled(aged 30-58years,with an average of47.29±8.11).a CMQ was used to measure LVGCS,LVGLS and RVGLS;Conventional echocardiographic left and right ventricular parameters were measured:LVEDd,LVEF,IVSd,LVPWd,E,e’,E/e’,TAPSE,PV-v,S’,E-tv,A-tv and Tei index; All echocardiographic parameters of 45 cases before and after each stage of chemotherapy were compared.Correlation between the changes of conventional echocardiographic parameters before and after chemotherapy(△LVEF,△Tei index,△TAPSE)and the changes of a CMQ parameters(△LVGLS,△RVGLS)were analyzed.Results:(1)Comparison of left and right ventricular strain parameters:LVGLS were decreased in T2(-22.41±1.82),T4(-20.74±2.03),T6(-20.46±2.07),compared with T0(-23.50±1.80)the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05);RVGLS were gradually decreased after two cycles of chemotherapy:T2(-20.81±2.46),T4(-20.42±2.42),T6(-19.66±3.53),compared with T0(-22.53±2.38)the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05);There was no significant difference in LVGCS between different chemotherapy cycle(p>0.05).(2)Comparison of conventional echocardiography left ventricular parameters between different chemotherapy cycle:LVEF in T6(65.81±2.85)were significantly lower than T0(67.62±3.14),thedifferencewasstatisticallysignificant(p<0.05);IVSd,LVEDd,LVPWd,E,e’and E/e’showed no significant difference between different chemotherapy treatment course(p>0.05).(3)Comparison of conventional echocardiography right ventricular parameters between different chemotherapy treatment course:TAPSE wew decreased in T4(19.20±1.79),T6(18.34±1.92),compared with T0(21.12±2.20)the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);Tei were increased in T6(0.40±0.04),compared with T0(0.34±0.06),the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05);there was no statistically significant difference in E-tv,A-tv,PV-v and S’after each chemotherapy stage(p>0.05).(4)△LVGLS showed strong correlation with△LVEF(r=0.70,p<0.05).(5)△RVGLS showed strong correlation with△Tei-index(r=0.58,p<0.05)and middle correlation with△TAPSE(r=0.44,p<0.05).(6)△LVGLS showed strong correlation with△RVGLS(r=0.82,p<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Effect of ATC on cardiac function in breast cancer patients appeared in early chemotherapy stage, affects the left and right ventricles function.(2)Compared with conventional echocardiographic technology,a CMQ can discover early impairment of left and right ventricular function in breast cancer patients after anthracycline-based chemotherapy.(3)aCMQ has a good correlation with conventional echocardiography, and it’s simple to manipulate. The use of a CMQ plays a certain application significance in the detection and intervention of early subtle damage of left and right heart function in breast cancer patients after chemotherapy.
