Comparison Of Collateral Branches Distribution On 3D PCASL Between Hemorrhagic And Ischemic Moyamoya Disease In Adults

Objective To compare the distribution of collateral branches between hemorrhagic and ischemic moyamoya disease in adults on 3Dp CASL.Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted of 71 patients diagnosed with MMD,patients were divided into hemorrhagic type and ischemic type,all the patients were performed conventional MR,3Dp CASL and SWI scanning before bypass surgery.The ASL-CBF maps were divided into 27 regions based on ASPECTS and pc-ASPECTS,and the values were assigned according to ATA intensity in each region(score 0,1,2,3).The differences of ATA values of anterior circulation,posterior circulation,deep brain and superficial brain were calculated.Results The ATA value in the deep part of the hemorrhage group was higher than that in the ischemia group.The ATA value of the posterior circulation in the hemorrhage group was higher than that in the ischemia group.In hemorrhage group,the value of ATA in the deep part was higher than that in the superficial part.In ischemia group,the ATA value of the anterior circulation was higher than that in the anterior circulation.Conclusion In the hemorrhage group,the distribution of collateral circulation was mainly in the posterior circulation and the deep part of the brain.While in the ischemia group,the collateral circulation was mainly distributed in the anterior circulation and the superficial part of the brain.
