Objectives: In the early stage,the research group developed a small volume,light weight,independent and portable field intravenous infusion monitoring device to solve the problem of a small number of rescue personnel in the field and emergency rescue environment to manage the infusion of a large number of patients,so that a nurse can check the infusion speed,residual fluid volume and other information of all patients at any time.In order to upgrade the performance of the device and further verify its application value,the research group improved the device,and carried out performance testing and clinical application research on the improved device,so as to improve its appearance,function and performance,and realize safe,efficient and information-based infusion management mode in the special environment of field rescue.Methods: The first is to carry out the discussion on the improvement scheme of intravenous infusion monitoring device.In view of the problems existing in the infusion management of clinical nurses,the performance items of the device that need to be added or adjusted were put forward.The improved device was preliminarily tested and the discussion on the improvement scheme of the device was carried out again.After many discussions and improvements,the appearance and function of the device were improved and more in line with the actual nursing needs.At the same time,consult the relevant literature and paper books of medical electrical engineering,formulate the basic performance test program according to the requirements of "environmental requirements and test methods for medical electrical appliances","reliability prediction manual for electronic equipment",and test the basic performance of the device such as safety,high and low temperature,vibration and reliability by the third-party testing agency.Then,the application research of the device can be divided into two parts,one is the applicability research of the device,such as the accuracy research of dropping speed and alarm function of the device in different kinds of infusion sets,different kinds of liquids,open and solid wall wards in different use environments;the other is the clinical practicability research of the device,and the clinical controlled trial research is carried out in a special ward of a 3A hospital The detection rate of abnormal drip speed,the call rate of liquid change ring,the empty rate of liquid drop,the blood return rate in the infusion tube,the average number of rounds and the average time of liquid change were compared between the control group and the experimental group.Results: Based on wireless communication technology,the research group has developed an intravenous infusion monitoring device which can be used in the field,disaster relief and other emergency rescue environment.According to the technical index detection,all indexes meet the design and actual work requirements,and can accurately monitor the commonly used clinical liquids,and is suitable for commonly used clinical infusion sets.The signal coverage diameter in the solid wall ward is 170 m,and the longest network disconnection time is not more than 4s.In case of abnormal dropping speed(dropping speed overrun,infusion interruption)or remaining time≤forecast time,the handheld terminal will immediately send out alarm information.In clinical controlled trials,the call rates of changing fluids in control group and experimental group were 95.1% and 29.47%,respectively,? 2=923.06,P < 0.05;the liquid dropping rate were 12.0% and 2.29%,?2=67.20,P<0.05;the blood return rates in infusion tubes were 14.02% and 4.67%,?2=5.52,P<0.05;the abnormal detection rates of dropping speed were 8.68% and 2.56%,?2=67.198,P<0.05;the average house inspection times of a single bottle of liquid were 1.61 times and 1.11 times respectively,z=-18.912,P<0.05;the average time for changing a single bottle of liquid were 23.02 s and 16.63 s respectively,z=-19.897,P<0.05;the satisfaction of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant.Conclusion: The application of intravenous infusion monitoring device in the infusion management of nursing staff can improve the infusion safety of patients,improve the work efficiency of nurses,and realize the safe,efficient and information-based infusion management.It is suitable for emergency rescue,infusion management in emergency infusion room and special ward.
