| Objective:To investigate the expression of SAMHD 1 in gastric cancer and its clinical significance.Methods :Immunohistochemical staining SP method was used to detect the expression of SAMHD1 protein in tumor tissues of 320 patients with gastric cancer,and the correlation between the positive results and clinical data was analyzed.Kaplan-Meier method was used for univariate survival analysis,and Cox proportional hazard model was used for multivariate analysis.Results :The positive expression rate of SAMHD1 protein in gastric cancer tissues was as high as 75.9%.According to the analysis results,the expression of samhd1 protein in cancer has no correlation with the clinical characteristics of patients,such as gender,tumor primary site,etc.,but is related to the age of patients and the clinical stage of gastric cancer(P <0.05).Cox proportional hazard regression model was used to analyze the univariate prognosis.SAMHD1 expression(P < 0.05),postoperative stage(P < 0.01),tumor location(P < 0.05)and patient age(p < 0.05)were the influencing factors on the prognosis of gastric cancer patients.The above variables were brought into Cox multivariate prognosis analysis,which suggested that SAMHD1 protein expression and tumor stage were independent influencing factors on the prognosis of gastric cancer patients.Conclusions :The expression of SAMHD1 protein is an independent protective factor affecting the prognosis of gastric cancer patients(p < 0.05),and can be used as an index to judge the prognosis of gastric cancer. |
