Objective:The purpose of this study was to describe the expression of tumor abnormal protein in patients with breast disease, and to further explore its application value in the diagnosis of breast cancer, and to analyze the correlation between the expression level of tumor abnormal protein and various clinical and pathological characteristics as well as the different outcomes of patients receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods:A total of 207 female patients admitted to the Department of Breast Surgery of our hospital from October 2018 to O ctober 2020 were selected and divided into benign group(107 cases,51.7%)and malignant group(100 cases,48.3%).58 patients in the malignant group and all patients in the benign group received surgical treatment, and 42 patients in the malignant group received neoadjuvant chemotherapy.TAP levels in peripheral blood were detected in 207 patients before treatment, and again in 42 patients in malignant group who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy after 3 cycles of chemotherapy. The expression level of TAP in peripheral blood of patients with different characteristics and the correlation between the expression of TAP and the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy were analyzed. The statistical software was SPSS 25.0.Results:①The positive rate of TAP in benign group and malignant group was 15.0%and 83.0%,respectively,and the positive rate of TAP in malignant group was higher than that in benign group(P<0.001).②ROC curve analysis showed that the optimal critical value of TAP detection for predicting benign and malignant breast tumors was 119.551μm2,and AUC=0.837.Under the criteria of this critical value, the specificity and sensitivity of TAP detection for diagnosis of breast cancer were 84.1%and 83.3%,respectively.③The expression level of TAP before treatment was not correlated with clinical stage, histological grade, molecular type, tumor size, hormone receptor expression,Her-2 expression,Ki-67 expression and lymph node metastasis(P>0.05).④The expression level of TAP was related to the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and the expression level of TAP was decreased in patients who received CR or PR after chemotherapy. The expression level of TAP increased in patients who received SD or PD after chemotherapy. The expression level of TAP in ineffective patients was higher than that in effective patients after treatment.Conclusion:①The positive rate of TAP in peripheral blood is higher in breast cancer patients compared with benign breast disease patients.TAP detection is of high value in the diagnosis of breast cancer and can be used for the early diagnosis or auxiliary diagnosis of breast cancer.②Before treatment,TAP expression level of breast cancer patients was not related to clinical and pathological characteristics.③The expression level of TAP is correlated with the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer.By monitoring the expression level of TAP in peripheral blood,it can reflect the efficacy of chemotherapy in patients to some extent, which proves that TAP detection has efficacy evaluation value in breast cancer patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy and can be used for dynamic monitoring during treatment.
