Research On The Public Health Safety Cognition Of "Host And Guest" And Tourist Safety Behavior In Rural Tourism Destinations

The outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19)at the end of 2019 changed people’s life order and had a profound impact on people’s consumption preferences and behaviors.In addition,with the rise of rural tourism,public health and safety issues in rural tourism destinations have gradually emerged,which will not only affect tourists’ travel mood and impression of scenic spots,but also hinder the healthy development of rural tourism destinations to a certain extent.Therefore,it is necessary to study the public health safety of rural tourism destinations.First of all,this research initially proposes the dimensions of the research scale by combing the literature and referring to previous studies,and then further refines the research scale through pre-investigation,interviews,and questionnaire surveys,and obtains the formal questionnaire through a small sample reliability and validity test;,Through field visits to three national rural tourism key villages in Guilin,Guangxi,and collected 335 valid questionnaires for tourists and 248 valid questionnaires for residents,to understand the specific knowledge and understanding of tourists and residents on the public health and safety of rural tourism destinations before and after the epidemic.Safety behavior of tourists;finally,use SPSS25.0 software and AMOS25.0 software to perform paired T-test analysis and structural equation model analysis on the collected data respectively.The following main conclusions are first obtained:(1)The new crown pneumonia epidemic has a significant impact on the public health safety awareness of the “hosts and guests” of rural tourism destinations.After the epidemic,the “hosts and guests”generally paid more attention to the public health safety of rural tourism destinations,and the changes before and after the epidemic were more significant.The big ones are the degree of concern about the health and safety of the personnel in the "host and guest" rural tourism destinations(the average difference between the "host and guest" public health safety awareness is 0.91 and 1.04,respectively)and the degree of concern about the health and safety management(the "host and guest" public health safety recognition)It is known that the average difference is 0.70 and 0.98 respectively).The smaller change before and after the epidemic is the degree of concern of the “host and guest” on the environmental health and safety of rural tourism destinations(the average difference between the “host and guest” public health and safety awareness is 0.54 and0.98,respectively.0.60)and the degree of concern about the sanitation and safety of the facility(the average difference between the "host and guest" public health safety awareness is 0.63 and 0.71 respectively)(2)Regardless of before and after the epidemic,the “host and guest” are most concerned about the environmental health and safety of rural tourism destinations.Secondly,due to the impact of the epidemic,the “host and guest” pay more attention to the health and safety of personnel after the epidemic.Compared with the other three dimensions,the epidemic situation Before and after,the "host and guest" paid less attention to the sanitation and safety management of rural tourist destinations.(3)The analysis results of the structural equation model show that tourists have a certain influence on their tourism safety behaviors on the health and safety cognition,environmental health and safety cognition,facility health and safety,and health safety management cognition of rural tourist destinations.
