Clinical Study On Treating Allergic Rhinitis Of Lung And Spleen Qi Deficiency Type By Zhengshi Laryngology Department "Huyuan Method"

Objective:This study is based on the clinical efficacy of Zheng Meijian’s doctrine of fertility and conception in the treatment of allergic rhinitis of the lung and spleen qi deficiency type with the "Huyuan Method" of Xin’an Zheng’s Laryngology Department.On the basis of inheriting Zheng Meijian’s academic thought of "the doctrine of fertility and conception",the clinical application of Zheng Meijian’s "Huyuan Method" was innovated,and the clinical efficacy of Zheng Meijian’s "doctrine of fertility and conception" and "Huyuan Method" was observed.It also provides references for further research on the application of Zheng Meijian’s "doctrine of fertility and conception" and the "Huyuan Method" in clinical evidence.Methods:1.Clinical experiment: a total of 70 cases of allergic rhinitis consistent with lung and spleen spleen deficiency type were collected from 2019.06-2020.06 in the outpatient clinic of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology,The First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Patients were numbered according to the order of consultation,and 70 patients were randomly divided equally into treatment group(huyuan empirical formula)and control group(mometasone furoate nasal spray)and given the corresponding medication for 4 weeks respectively.Patients’ age,gender and duration of illness were recorded.The clinician recorded and scored the main symptoms,TCM symptoms and physical signs of the patients before and after treatment,and also took smears of nasal secretions before and after treatment.Patients were followed up within 2 months after treatment.2.Statistical analysis of clinical trial data was performed using SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software.Result:1.Comparing within groups,the differences between the treatment group before and after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05)in terms of main symptoms,TCM concurrent evidence,signs,total efficacy score and EOS count,indicating a significant effect in the treatment group,while the differences in the control group were P < 0.05 in terms of signs,total efficacy score and EOS count,and P > 0.05 in terms of nasal congestion and each concurrent evidence score,indicating that the control group was effective,but ineffective in terms of nasal congestion and concurrent evidence.2.Comparing between groups,the difference between the two groups in terms of TCM concurrent evidence,total points and EOS counts after treatment was P < 0.05,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.3.The ifferences between the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05)in terms of manifest efficiency and recurrence rate,indicating that the total efficacy of Huyuan Experiential Formula was superior to that of Mometasone furoate and could effectively reduce the recurrence rate.Conclusion:Zheng’s Laryngology Huyuan Empirical Formula has good therapeutic effects on allergic rhinitis of the lung and spleen qi deficiency type.Compared with mometasone furoate,the Huyuan Empirical Formula has more advantages in each of the TCM concurrent symptoms,EOS count,overall efficacy and recurrence rate,and is worthy of continued clinical study.
