Objective:To explore the correlation between serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D[25-(OH)D] levels in the third trimester of pregnancy in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and neonatal growth indicators, and to provide evidence for monitoring and reasonable supplementation of vitamin D(Vit D)in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus during pregnancy. Methods:Selected 118 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus who came to Baoding First Central Hospital for hospitalization from January 2020 to December 2020 and met the inclusion criteria of this study as the research objects, and their serum 25-(OH)D levels were determined by chemiluminescence.According to the 2015 "Guidelines for Clinical Application of Biochemical Markers of Bone Metabolism",it was divided into three groups: Vit D normal group(serum 25-(OH)D ≥30ng/m L)37 cases,Vit D insufficient group(20ng/m L≤serum 25-(OH)D<30ng/m L)39 cases,Vit D deficiency group(serum 25-(OH)D<20ng/m L)42 cases.Baseline data of 3 groups of patients and newborns were collected, and birth weight, body length, head circumference, and chest circumference were used to represent the growth indicators of newborns.One-way analysis of variance and LSD-t post-hoc test were used to compare the body length and head circumference of the newborns in each group, and the Kruskal-Wallis H test was used to compare the birth weight and chest circumference of the newborns in each group.Spearman correlation analysis is used to analyze the correlation between serum25-(OH)D levels and neonatal growth indicators.P<0.05 considered the difference to be statistically significant,P<0.001 considered statistically significant.Results:1.The comparison of neonatal growth indicators in each group was statistically significant(P<0.05).Pairwise comparison between the groups, the birth weight of newborns in the Vit D normal group [3503.00(3282.50,3658.50)]g was greater than the birth weight of the newborns in the Vit D-deficient group [3300.00(3193.00,3400.00)]g and the birth weight of the newborns in the Vit D-deficient group [3227.50(2968.50,3445.75)]g(P<0.05),the length of newborns in the normal Vit D group(51.24±1.14)cm was significantly longer than the length of newborns in the Vit D-deficient group(50.42±1.07)cm and the newborns in the Vit D-deficient group(50.06±1.50)cm(P<0.001),with normal Vit D The head circumference(34.66±0.81)cm of the newborns in the Vit D deficiency group was significantly longer than the head circumference of the newborns in the Vit D deficiency group(34.05±0.71)cm and the newborns in the Vit D deficiency group(33.84±0.99)cm(P<0.001).The breast circumference of the newborns in the Vit D normal group was(33.75±1.29)cm was longer than the breast circumference of newborns in the Vit D deficiency group(32.87±1.06)and the breast circumference of the newborns in the Vit D deficiency group(32.56 ± 1.69)(P<0.05).Compared with the Vit D deficiency group, there were no differences in the birth weight, length, head circumference, and chest circumference of the newborns(P>0.05).2.Serum 25-(OH)D levels are positively correlated with newborn birth weight, body length, head circumference, and chest circumference(r 0.44,0.43,0.45,0.40,P<0.001).Conclusion:1.In gestational diabetic mellitus patients with normal serum25-hydroxyvitamin D levels in the third trimester, their neonatal growth indicators are better than those with insufficient and deficient serum25-hydroxyvitamin D levels.2.Serum 25-(OH)D levels in the third trimester of pregnancy in GDM patients are correlated with neonatal growth indicators, and attention should be paid to the monitoring of Vit D during pregnancy.
