| ObjectiveThis study used questionnaires to compare the postoperative sexual function and urinary function of patients undergoing laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery using biplane confluence method and patients who accepted conventional laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery at the same period, and retrospectively evaluated the effects of biplane confluence radical rectal cancer surgery. The impact of male rectal cancer patients on sexual function and urination function,to evaluate the clinical application value of the biplane confluence method. At the same time,it provides first-hand information for improving the sexual function and urination function of patients after radical resection of rectal cancer.Rehabilitation therapy related to function and urination function provides an important basis for improving the quality of life of patients after surgery.MethodsCollected 88 male patients with rectal cancer who were hospitalized in Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 with complete data after TME.All excised specimens were diagnosed by pathological examination in the pathology department of hospital. The general clinical data of all patients were collected and grouped according to the operation method(biplane confluence method laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group, conventional laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group),and the postoperative sexual function and urinary function scores of the patients were obtained through follow-up and questionnaire survey,SPSS25.0 software package was used for data analysis, measurement data were expressed as mean±standard deviation(X±S),count data were compared by X~2test,single factor analysis was by analysis of variance, and P<0.05indicated that the difference was statistically significant.Results(1)The biplane convergent laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group included13 patients(28.3%)in the normal or mild ejaculatory function group,9 patients(19.6%)in the critical state group, and 24 patients(52.2%)in the ejaculatory dysfunction group;the routine laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group included 4 patients(9.5%)in the normal or mild ejaculatory function group,6 patients(14.3%)in the critical state group,and32 patients(76.2%)in the ejaculatory dysfunction group,P<0.05 between the two groups, there is a significant difference;(2)The postoperative erectile function normal group of the biplane confluence laparoscopic radical rectal cancer group included 18 patients(39.1%),the mild group included 17 patients(37.0%),and the moderate group included 6 patients(13.0%).The severe group included 5 patients(10.9%);the conventional laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group included 8 patients(19.0%)in the normal ejaculatory function group, the mild group included 15 patients(35.7%),and the moderate group included 16 patients(38.1%),the severe group contains 3 patients(7.1%),and the comparison between the two groups is P<0.05,which is a significant difference;(3)The postoperative urinary function score of the biplane convergent laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group was 8.48±3.82 at the first month after surgery and5.83±3.51 at the sixth month after surgery;the urinary function surgery in the conventional laparoscopic radical rectal cancer surgery group The score was 10.19±3.86 in the next month and 7.43±3.60 in the 6 months after the operation. The comparison between the two groups was P<0.05,which was a significant difference.Conclusion(1)Compared with conventional laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer through biplane confluence method,it helps to reduce the incidence of postoperative sexual dysfunction in patients with rectal cancer.(2)Compared with conventional laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer through biplane confluence method,it helps to reduce the incidence of urinary dysfunction in patients with rectal cancer.(3)The use of biplane confluence method for radical rectal cancer can help the surgeon to grasp the level of the pelvic cavity during radical rectal cancer surgery, and is conducive to the safe preservation of pelvic autonomic nerves, thereby helping to protect the function of the patient’s pelvic organs. Therefore,it is worthwhile to conduct further research on biplane convergent radical resection of rectal cancer. |
