Objective:By collecting serum uric acid and other laboratory indexes of pregnant women with preeclampsia, complications during pregnancy and neonatal outcome, the correlation among uric acid and the severity of preeclampsia and adverse maternal and infant outcome was determined.this paper focuses on the correlation between serum uric acid level and fetal growth restriction in preeclampsia.Methods:1250 pregnant women with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy delivered in our Hospital from January 2016 to December 2020were selected for a retrospective case-control study.According to the ACOG guidelines for hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy in2019.The preeclampsia group was divided into preeclampsia group(n=588)and simple pregnancy hypertension group(n=404),and the preeclampsia group was divided into preeclampsia with fetal growth restriction group(n=139)and preeclampsia group without FGR(n=449).Collect all the general conditions of pregnant women who meet the inclusion criteria during delivery, complications during delivery and postpartum, and laboratory indicators for analysis and comparison. Finally, the relationship between serum uric acid and preeclampsia complicated with fetal growth restriction was established.Results:1.There were significant differences between preeclampsia group and gestational hypertension group in age, admission blood pressure, termination of gestational week, height, weight, referral, serum uric acid, platelet, urinary protein, fetal growth restriction, hypoproteinemia, preterm delivery,HELLP syndrome, neonatal delivery mode, birth weight, body length,Apgar score and so on.2.There were statistically significant differences in diastolic blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, hospitalization cost, serum uric acid, glutamic pyruvic transaminase and serum albumin, fetal growth restriction, hypoproteinemia, preterm delivery,HELLP syndrome and neonatal delivery mode, birth weight, body length and Apgar score between preeclampsia with fetal growth restriction group and simple preeclampsia group.3.Logistic regression analysis showed that maternal height, weight, body mass index, diastolic blood pressure on admission, serum albumin and serum uric acid were the influencing factors of fetal growth restriction in preeclampsia. After multivariate regression analysis, maternal serum uric acid(OR1.003,95%CI1.001-1.005),serum albumin(OR0.921,95%CI0.877-0.981)and body mass index(OR0.927,95%CI0.877-0.981)are independent risk factors of preeclampsia complicated with fetal growth restriction.Linear regression analysis showed that serum uric acid could have an effect on the birth weight of newborns(r~2=0.044,P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Serum uric acid may be involved in the progression of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy and is related to adverse maternal and fetal outcomes.2.Maternal serum uric acid, body mass index and serum albumin are independent risk factors of preeclampsia complicated with fetal growth restriction.3.There was a negative correlation between maternal serum uric acid and newborn birth weight. The higher of the serum uric acid value in the third trimester of pregnancy, the lower of the newborn birth weight.
