| Objective: Detect the minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC)of Yu-jiang detoxification mixture on common pathogenic bacteria of CRS,and discuss the rationality and effectiveness of its external treatment for chronic sinusitis;and to observe clinical efficacy of Yu-jiang detoxification mixture in the treatment of CRSsNP(excess-heat syndrome)patients by washing the nasal cavity,and to explore its effectiveness and safety.Methods: 1.Observe each well for growth of common pathogenic bacteria of CRS after 24 hours of culture in 96-well microplate by diluting Yu-jiang detoxification mixture by coubling dilution.And transferred to the corresponding medium and then incubated for 24-48 hours,and then observe the bacterial growth on the medium,the highest dilution of media containing no bacterial growth on both plates and medium was the MIC of Yu-jiang detoxification mixture against the bacteria.2.A random method was used to divide the 64 CRSsNP patients who met the criteria for enrollment into two groups,each with 32 cases.The treatment group was given Yu-jiang detoxification mixture to rinse nose-nasal sinuses,20 ml,bid,for 2 weeks;the control group was given NS to wash sinus,20 ml,bid,for 2 weeks.Before treatment(0 week),after treatment for 1 and 2 weeks,patients were asked to fill in the case observation form with the SNOT-22 scale and Lund-Kennedy score scale.SPSS 25.0 was used to compare the data intra-group and inter-group,and the difference was statistically significant if p<0.05.Results: 1.Yu-jiang detoxification mixture has a good inhibitory effect on most common pathogenic bacteria of CRS.Among them,the inhibition effect on Staphylococcus epidermidis,Moraxella catarrhalis and Haemophilus influenzae was the most obvious(16 times);on Streptococcus pneumoniae and Proteus mirabilis(8 times)was obvious;on Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae was good(4 times);on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus have antibacterial effect(2 times).2.Yu-jiang detoxification mixture wash sinus to treat CRSsNP patients with Excess Heat Syndrome for 2 weeks.Among the 22 items in the SNOT-22 scale,the scores of 17 items and total score decreased significantly after treatment.And there were significant differences in the scores of 6items that Need to blow your nose,Stuffed nose,Thick nasal discharge,Dizziness or vertigo,Facial pain or pressure,Fatigued or tired during the day and total score compared with the control group.In this study,the "5 major issues" that have a greater impact on patients are Need to blow your nose,Stuffed nose,Thick nasal discharge,Difficulty to feel ‘smells’ or ‘tastes’,and Reduced concentration,all of which have been significantly improved after treatment.Compared with the control group,Lund Kennedy score and treatment results of the therapy group were better,the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05)Conclusion: 1.Yu-jiang detoxification mixture has obvious vitro antibacterial effect on most pathogenic bacteria of CRS,and it is reasonable and effective for external use in the treatment of CRS.2.Yu-jiang detoxification mixture to washing sinus in the treatment of Excess Heat Syndrome CRSsNP can improve the condition of nasal cavity and the quality of life of patients in a short time,with good clinical efficacy and small adverse reactions. |
