Objective:In order to improve the dialectical system of rosacea, the distribution and characteristics of TCM syndrome types of rosacea under different influencing factors were discussed in order to provide the basis for its dialectical diagnosis and treatment and related academic research. It also accumulates clinical data for the prevention and treatment of rosacea. Methods:Through a questionnaire survey on the incidence of rosacea in dermatology clinic of Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Academy of Traditional Chinese medicine from June 2019 to December 2020,the sex,the age,the characteristics of skin rash, the habits,et al of the collected cases were investigated. The characteristics of distribution location data and the relationship with TCM classification were studied and discussed.Excel software was used to establish the database and SPSS24.0 software was used for data description and statistical processing.Chi-square test was used to compare the counting data, and mean value±standard deviation was used to describe the measurement data conforming to normal distribution, and independent sample t test was used for comparison between groups.Measurement data that do not fit the normal distribution are described in terms of median and quartile, and nonparametric tests were used for comparison between groups.Multiple response analysis was carried out for multiple topics, and then Chi-square test was performed,P < 0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.The distribution of TCM syndrome types: Floating of deficiency Yang syndrome and liver heat and blood stasis syndrome accounted for 20.93% of the total number of patients respectively,wind-heat of lung meridian syndrome,spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome and dampness retention due to spleen deficiency syndrome were the second, accounting for18.60%,17.83% and 17.83% of the total population, respectively. The number of patients with combination of Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome was the least, only 3.88% of the total.2.The general condition: 20 males,15.50% of the total,109 females,84.50% of the total. The ratio of males and females was about 1:5.45.The number of female patients was significantly higher than that of male patients. The patients were 20 years old to 71 years old.Median age and quartile of the patients was 35(27,42).Among them, the average age of males was 37.80±10.90 years old,and the median age and quartile of females was 34(27,42).There weren’t significant differences in the age between different sexes, which has been tested by nonparametric tests. There were significant differences in the distribution of TCM syndrome types between different sexes and age, which has been tested by Chi-square.3.Clinical features: The patients of erythematotelangiectasia accounted for the largest number of patients, accounting for 53.49% of the total population. The patients of hypertrophic hyperplasia accounted for the lowest number of the patients, accounting for3.10%.There were 39 patients with concurrent 2 types.124 of the all patients chose nasal part, the proportion of nasal part was the highest(96.12%).Only 30 people chose ocular region, accounting for the lowest proportion, only 23.26%.There were 122 patients(94.57%)with erythema,62 patients(48.06%)with papules,37 patients(28.68%)with pustules and 7patients(5.43%)with hyperplastic hypertrophy. There were 11 people without aggravating factors, accounting for 8.53%.93 of the patients with aggravating factors chose solarization, the proportion of solarization was the highest(72.09%).Only 2 people chose smoking, accounting for the lowest proportion, only 1.55%.Among the 78 people who had previous visits, the previous diagnosis of 42 people were rosacea, accounting for 53.85%.Second,the previous diagnosis of 16 people were allergic dermatitis, accounting for 20.51%.Among 74 people who had past treatment,10 people used a steroid cream, accounting for 13.51%.A total of 63 people’s face felt dry, accounting for 48.84%.6 people didn’t have rational symptom, accounting for 4.65%.The patients merged acne in 41 patients who merged other facial skin diseases were the most, and there were 18 people, accounting for 43.90%.Among24 patients who merged internal disease besides rosacea the patients who merged gastrointestinal disease and endocrine system diseases were the most, and there were 9 people, accounting for 37.50% respectively.Chi-square test showed that there were significant differences in the distribution of TCM syndromes among different clinical typing, type of rash, aggravating factors and rational symptom. And Chi-square test showed that there weren’t significant differences in the distribution of TCM syndromes among different distribution of rashes.Conclusion:1.In this investigation,in the TCM classification of rosacea, liver heat and blood stasis syndrome and floating of deficiency Yang syndrome was most.Wind-heat of lung meridian syndrome,spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome and dampness retention due to spleen deficiency syndrome were the second, and combination of Phlegm and blood stasis syndrome was the least.2.The questionnaire survey showed that the distribution of TCM syndromes of rosacea was closely related to sex, age, eating habits, character, skin type, clinical typing, aggravating factors, seasons, family history, course of disease, rational symptom, and skin lesion score. There was no correlation between distribution of TCM syndromes and pressure, sleep time, distribution of rashes and test results of HP.3.According to the results of the survey, the number of female patients with rosacea was significantly higher than that of male patients, and the number of rosacea patients between 30 years old and 40 years old was significantly higher than that of other ages. Its incidence is closely related to living habits.Disorderly diet, capricious living, poor emotion and so on can affect the distribution of TCM syndromes of the disease.
