Clinical Observation On Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction In Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Cold-damp Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)of cold-damp stagnation syndrome,and to explore its efficacy and safety.Methods: In this study,the self-control method was used.Fifty-seven patients with rheumatoid arthritis of cold-damp stagnation syndrome who met the inclusion criteria were given Gancao Fuzi Decoction in addition to Chinese medicinal decoction for 12 weeks,and the changes of symptoms and signs,TCM syndrome score,DAS28 score,VAS score,laboratory indexes(ESR,CRP,RF)and adverse reactions before treatment,in the sixth week,and in the twelfth week were recorded.SPSS25.0 was used for data analysis.Results:1.A total of 57 patients completed the experiment,and the total effective rate of TCM syndrome was 94.74%.2.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can effectively reduce the number of joint pain,joint swelling and joint tenderness,and increase the average grip strength of both hands.Compared with the results before and after treatment,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can effectively reduce TCM syndrome score,DAS28 score and pain VAS score,and the difference is statistically significant before and after treatment(P < 0.05).4.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can obviously reduce the levels of ESR,CRP and RF inflammatory factors in laboratory index data analysis,and the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.In the safety data analysis,before and after treatment,there were no abnormalities in blood cell analysis,urine routine,liver and kidney function test and electrocardiogram.Conclusion:1.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can effectively alleviate the symptoms and signs of patients with RA,reduce the number of joint pain,joint tenderness,joint swelling,morning stiffness time,and improve the grip strength of both hands,thereby reducing the pain of patients.2.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can reduce the TCM syndrome score,pain VAS score and DAS28 score.3.Modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction can significantly reduce the levels of ESR,CRP and RF.4.The modified Gancao Fuzi Decoction had good safety and could be widely used as clinically commonly used drugs.
