Objective:To observe the clinical effect of lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture in treating spastic paralysis of upper limb after stroke,it provides an effective treatment method for clinical treatment of spastic paralysis of upper limb after stroke.Methods:64 subjects who met the research criteria were divided into two groups using a random number table method, there were 32 cases in each group of lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group and conventional acupuncture group. The lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was treated with lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture. The conventional acupuncture group was treated with conventional filiform acupuncture, the two groups were treated once a day for 6 consecutive days with 1 day off,the study period was 4 weeks.Record two groups of modified Ashworth scale(MAS)ratings, upper limb simplified Fugl-Meyer scale(FMA)scores, modified Barthel index rating scale(MBI)scores, surface electromyography iEMG scores,to evaluate the patient’s recovery.Results:1.Modified Ashworth Scale(MAS)rating comparison:after treatment, the MAS ratings of the two groups of patients all decreased, and compared with those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The degree of decline in the lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA)score for upper limb,Modified Barthel Index(MBI)score comparison:after treatment, the FMA,MBI scores of the two groups of patients all improved, compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The degree of improvement in the lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.Comparison of integrated electromyography iEMG scores:after treatment, the biceps brachii iEMG scores of the two groups all decreased, and the differences were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),the degree of decline in the lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);after treatment, the triceps iEMG scores of the two groups of patients were all increased, and the differences were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.01).The improvement degree of the lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was better than that of the conventional acupuncture group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After the treatment, the total effective rate of the two groups of patients is compared, the total effective rate of the lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture group was 87.5%,the total effective rate of the conventional acupuncture group was 71.9%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The clinical effect of lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture in treating spastic paralysis of upper limb after stroke is remarkable, which is worthy of clinical application.2.Lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture to treat upper limb spastic paralysis after stroke can improve the patient’s upper limb motor function and improve their activities of daily living.3.Lateral puncture combined with warming acupuncture can effectively balance muscle tension and relieve upper limb spasm in the treatment of upper limb spastic paralysis after stroke.
