Objective:To observe the clinical effect of regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture in the treatment of unilateral numbness after stroke, and further optimize the treatment scheme of acupuncture for unilateral numbness after stroke. Methods:The 60 cases with unilateral numbness after stroke were randomly divided into treatment group(regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture group)and control group(routine acupuncture group)by random number table,30 cases in each group.Under the premise of basic treatment for the two groups of patients, the acupuncture points in the treatment group were Baihui,Shenting,Renzhong,Danzhong,Neiguan(bilateral),Shenmen(bilateral),Sanyinjiao(bilateral);Acupuncture points in the control group were the oblique line of vertex-temporal(healthy side),Quchi,Waiguan,Zhongzhu,Hegu,Zusanli,Xuanzhong,Kunlun and Taichong(all on the numb side),the oblique line of vertex-temporal follows the scalp acupuncture method;the technique of reinforcing and reducing was performed after needling sensation of acupuncture points, and the needle was kept for 50 minutes.During this period, the needle was administered twice. The treatment was performed once a day and consecutive treatments were performed 6 times for a total of 4 weeks. The Visual Analogue Scales(VAS),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Simple Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Rating Scale(FMA)and Sensory impairment rating scale(Fugl-Meyer-Lindmark)were used to evaluate the efficacy of patients in the two groups.Results:1.VAS scores:After treatment,VAS scores of two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);The decrease of VAS scores in the regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture group was significantly higher than that of conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).2.HAMA scores:After treatment,HAMA scores of two groups were significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.01);The decrease of HAMA scores in the regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture was significantly higher than that of conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).3.FMA scores:After treatment,FMA scores of two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01);The increase of FMA scores in the regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture was significantly higher than that of conventional acupuncture group(P<0.05).4.Fugl-Meyer-Lindmark scores:After treatment,Fugl-Meyer-Lindmark scores of two groups were significantly higher than that before treatment(P<0.01);The increase of Fugl-Meyer-Lindmark scores in the regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture was significantly higher than that of conventional acupuncture group(P<0.01).5.Overall efficacy evaluation:The markedly effective rate of the regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture group was 79.31%(23/29),significantly better than the 48.28%(14/29)of the routine acupuncture group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture method can significantly reduce the numbness and discomfort of patients with unilateral numbness after stroke.2.The regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture method can effectively relieve the anxiety of patients with unilateral numbness after stroke.3.The regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture method can help the recovery of motor function of patients with unilateral numbness after stroke.4.The regulating mind and dredging collaterals acupuncture has a definite curative effect in the treatment of unilateral numbness after stroke, and it is better than conventional acupuncture.
