Clinical Observation On Modified Xianglianhewei Decoction In Treating Spleen Deficiency Diarrhea With Damp-heat Type

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Xianglian Hewei Decoction in treating spleen deficiency diarrhea with damp-heat type.Methods: Collect 49 patients with spleen deficiency diarrhea with damp-heat type who met the inclusion criteria,treated with Modified Xianglian Hewei Decoction,observed by the method of self-control before and after treatment.The treatment duration of this clinical observation is 1 to 4 weeks.Record the patient’s gender,age,and disease course distribution,as well as the cure rate of single syndrome,the TCM syndrome scores,the efficacy of TCM syndromes,the course of healing and markedly effective patient treatment before and after treatment.For patients who have completed treatment obser-vation,follow up 3 months after stopping the drug.Results: The clinical results show that Xianglian Hewei Decoction has a significant clinical effect in treating spleen deficiency diarrhea with damp-heat type.Comparing before and after treatment,the individual symptoms were significantly reduced.Among the main symptoms,the cure rate of character of stool is 77.55%,the cure rate of stool frequency is 69.39%,the cure rate of careless diet aggravates diarrhea is 51.16%;among the secondary symptoms,the cure rate of reduced diet is 51.61%,the cure rate of abdominal fullness and disteneion after eating is 51.52%,the cure rate of undigested food in stools is 39.13%,the cure rate of dry mouth and thirst,scanty dark urine is 53.66%,the cure rate of lack of energy is 52.76%,the cure rate of lusterless complexion is 38.24%.In terms of the efficacy of TCM syndromes,7 cases were cured,20 cases were markedly effective,18 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective,The total effective rate was 91.83%.Among the7 patients who were cured,3 patients took the medicine for 3 weeks and 2patients took the medicine for 4 weeks;Among the 20 patients with marked effect,5 patients took the medicine for 3 weeks,9 patients took the medicine for 4 weeks,and the best course of medication is 3 to 4 weeks.During the follow-up process,49 patients completed the treatment,4 patients were ineffective,2 patients fell off,and 5 patients relapsed,with a recurrence rate of11.63%.Conclusion: Modified Xianglian Hewei Decoction has improved the single symptoms of spleen deficiency diarrhea with damp-heat type,among which character of stool and stool frequency have the highest cure rate;it can reduce the TCM single syndrome scores of spleen deficiency diarrhea with damp-heat type,and the effect is definite;Continuously taking the medicine for 3 to4 weeks,the curative effect is better,and the recurrence rate is lower.
