| Objective: To explore the efficacy of Ginkgo biloba extract combined with olanzapine in the treatment of schizophrenia,and to study the effect of Ginkgo biloba extract on olanzapine metabolism in human body.Methods: Selection of the main research object for the December 2019-December 2020 in Inner Mongolia mental health center treatment of 57 cases of patients with schizophrenia,it is divided into two groups at random: use the olanzapine group 29 cases(control group),another group of olanzapine in combination with ginkgo biloba extract(research group),28 cases,two groups of patients with gender,age,degree of culture,and other general information no statistical difference(P > 0.05).After a 3-day cleaning period,patients in the control group were treated with olanzapine alone with a starting dose of 10 mg/d,and the dose range was 10-20 mg/d according to the clinical manifestations of thepatients.Patients in the study group received combined treatment with olanzapine and ginkgo biloba extract 40mg/time,3 times/day for 8 weeks.PANSS scale,MOCA scale and WMS scale were evaluated and detected before and at the end of the 4th and 8th week after medication,and the occurrence of ADR in the two groups was recorded.At 6 am on the 1st,2nd,4th and 8th weekend after treatment,2ml of venous blood was extracted from patients in both groups,and HPLC-MS was used to determine the level of blood drug concentration in patients.During the treatment,regular ECG,blood routine,blood glucose,blood lipid,liver and kidney function,weight and other examinations were performed.To observe the efficacy of olanzapine alone and olanzapine combined with ginkgo biloba leaf in the treatment of schizophrenia,and to study the effect of ginkgo biloba leaf extract on the blood concentration of olanzapine.Results: After 8 weeks of treatment in both the control group and the study group,the results showed that olanzapine alone and olanzapine combined with ginkgo biloba leaf extract had a significant effect on the treatment of schizophrenia,and the ginkgo biloba leaf extract combined with olanzapine group had a more significant effect.The total effective rate of the study group was 92.85%,which was better than that of the control group(65.52%),the difference being statistically significant(P < 0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the positive symptoms,negative symptoms,general psychopathological symptoms and total scores between 2 groups(P>0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the positive symptoms,negative symptoms,general psychopathological symptoms and total scores of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in the scores of MOCA scale and WMS scale between 2 groups(P > 0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment,the scores of MOCA and WMS in the research group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Blood concentration: As time went by,the blood concentration of olanzapine in both groups increased continuously,but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: the application of combined ginkgo biloba extract olanzapine treatment of patients with schizophrenia and patients with positive and negative symptoms were improved,PANSS score significantly lower,memory and cognitive function in patients with increased significantly,and ginkgo biloba extract on olanzapine had no significant effect in the human body’s metabolism,which is worth wide use in the clinical treatment. |
