Objective: To investigate the incidence of cervical Chlamydia trachomatis(CT)infection and the risk factors of CT infection in outpatients of gynecology department. Methods: Female patients who visited the gynecological outpatient department of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital from March 2018 to March2021 were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey for those who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, which is about the personal background, hygiene habits, marriage, childbearing and sexual life. Then their cervical and upper vaginal secretions were collected and detected. The incidence of CT infection in gynecological outpatients was calculated. The risk factors of CT infection were analyzed by Chi-square test and logistic binary regression. Results: A total of 788 patients were included, including 75 patients in the CT positive group and 713 patients in the CT negative group. The total incidence of CT infection was 9.52% in the gynecological outpatients.Chi-square test showed that there were no significant differences between the two groups in education level, hygiene habits(vulva cleaning method, frequency of vaginal irrigation, frequency of pad use),age of first sexual life, number of sexual partners, sexual life style, method of contraception and number of abortions(P > 0.05).There were significant differences in age, monthly income, marriage, number of births, leucorrhea cleanliness and vaginal flora between the two groups(P < 0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that,young(18-35 years old)(OR = 2.247,95%CI 1.018-4.958),unmarried(OR = 1.990,95%CI1.014-3.906)and abnormal leucorrhea cleanliness(OR = 3.035,95%CI1.209-7.621)were significantly associated with CT infection(all P <0.05).Monthly income, number of births and vaginal flora had no significant correlation with CT infection(all P > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)The incidence of Chlamydia trachomatis infection in gynecological outpatients was significantly higher than that of the general population, with an incidence of 9.52%.(2)Young(18-35 years old),unmarried and leucorrhea cleanliness are risk factors for chlamydia trachomatis infection. Therefore,it is suggested that CT screening should be enhanced in these populations, and routine screening for chlamydia trachomatis is necessary before uterine operation in clinical practice.NAAT is currently the recommended detection method for cervical CT infection screening.Standardize the treatment of CT infection to avoid the occurrence of adverse complications and drug resistance caused by incomplete treatment. At present, there is no effective preventive drug,so the education of patients should be strengthened, and follow-up visits and treatment of sexual partners should be paid attention to.
