Objective: To investigate the effects of different ovarian stimulation protocols on IVF/ICSI outcomes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)charactered by hyperandrogenism. Methods:The data of 1109 patients due to PCOS charactered by hyperandrogenism infertility in our hospital from January 2014 to February2020 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different ovarian stimulation protocols performed, the patients were divided into 3 groups:ultralong protocol group(n=663),long protocol group(n=279)and the antagonist protocol group(n=167).The days and dose of gonadortropin(Gn)used, number of oocytes retrieved, number of 2PN oocyte, number of good quality embryo, endometrium on the day of embryo transfer, rate of cycle-ET,clinical pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate were compared among the groups. Results:The total dose and days of Gn used in the ultralong protocol group was significantly higher than those in the long protocol group and the antagonist protocol group(P<0.05);The number of oocytes retrieved, number of 2PN oocyte, endometrium on the day of embryo transfer of the ultralong protocol group were significantly better than the antagonist protocol group(P<0.05),but there were no significantly differences between the ultralong protocol group and the long protocol group(P>0.05);Abortion rate and live birth rate of the ultralong protocol group were significantly better than the antagonist protocol group(P<0.05).There were no significantly differences in rate of cycle-ET and clinical pregnancy rate among three groups(P>0.05).Conclusions: Abortion rate and live birth rate of the long protocol group were significantly better than the antagonist protocol group,at the same time, the long protocol don’t increase the days and total dose of Gn used,it was still thought of a better protocol for the patients with PCOS charactered by hyperandrogenism.
