| Objective The study intended to explore the expression of manganese containing superoxide dismutase(MnSOD)and peroxidase 6(PRDX6)in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL),and analyze the relationship between the expression of the two and the clinical characteristics of DLBCL as well as its clinical significance.Methods A total of 60 tissue specimens with DLBCL were collected,which were newly diagnosed by pathological examination by Gansu Provincial Hospital from January2016 to December 2019.The clinical data of these patients were also collected.In addition,data and specimens from 20 patients with reactive lymph node hyperplasia who were diagnosed at the same time were collected as controls.By using immunohistochemical staining,the expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 proteins in 60 DLBCL tissues and 20 lymph node reactive hyperplasia tissues was detected.The expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 and clinicopathological features(age,gender,clinical stage,IPI score,etc.)in DLBCL was evaluated.The correlation between the expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 in DLBCL was analyzed.Results The positive expression rates of MnSOD in DLBCL tissues was 75%(45/60),which was higher than 50%(10/20)in reactive hyperplasia of lymph nodes.Similarly,the expression of PRDX6 in the experimental group was 35%(21/60),which was also higher than5%(1/20)in the control group,and the differences in the above results were statistically significant(P<0.05).The positive expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 in DLBCL tissues are all related to the clinicopathological characteristics of DLBCL patients,including Ann Arbor clinical stage,B symptoms and IPI score(P<0.05),but there was no significant correlation with the patient’s gender,age,and LDH.In addition,there was a positive correlation between the expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 in DLBCL.(r=0.133,P<0.05).Conclusion 1.The expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 in DLBCL was significantly higher than that in lymph node reactive hyperplasia.2.The expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 in DLBCL tissue was related to the tumor stage,B symptoms and IPI score in patients.3.The expression of MnSOD and PRDX6 was positively correlated in DLBCL,and their interaction may be an important factor in the occurrence and development of DLBCL. |
