| Objective: To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect of clear aligner by cephalometric analysis, model analysis and objective evaluation system. Methods: 1.20 female patients treated with clear aligner, aged 22 ± 8 years, were selected. The lateral cephalograms were taken before and at the end of first stage treatment. The lateral cephalograms of the patients were imported into Winceph 9.0software,and cephalometric analysis was carried out before and after treatment. The sagittal and vertical measurements of the lower anterior teeth of the patients were selected for comparison with the amount of design movement in Clincheck software.Statistical methods were used to analyze tooth movement realization and possible influencing factors.2.Evaluation of the effectiveness of clear aligner: 20 female patients, aged 26±9 years, were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The difficulty of initial treatment was assessed using the clear aligner treatment complexity assessment tool and the treatment efficacy was assessed using the standard orthodontic index. The correlation between them was analyzed statistically. Results: 1.Cephalometric analysis results showed that there are significant changes in teeth(p<0.05)and profile(p<0.05)after clear aligner treatment, but no change could be found in skeletal pattern(p > 0.05);After treatment, the effectiveness of sagittal movement of lower anterior teeth crown was the highest, followed by crown intrusion and apical intrusion, and the effectiveness were 76%,59% and 45%,respectively;There was no significant correlation between the effectiveness of anterior crown retracted and compression ratio, design retracted, design inclination and actual inclination; The actual tipping of the lower anterior teeth has a strong correlation with the design retracted quantity, while a moderate correlation with the design inclination.2.After the treatment of clear aigner, the occlusion of the posterior teeth, the overlay of the anterior teeth and the crowding of the upper and lower teeth were significantly improved, and the teeth were basically arranged in order, but the change of overlay and midline was not statistically significant; There was no significant correlation between the difficulty of initial treatment and the treatment effect. Conclusion: 1.The improvement of malocclusion in patients with clear aligner treatment was mainly dental effect;2.Clear aligner is good at sagittal control of lower anterior teeth, while the expression rate of vertical movement was lower. There was no uncontrollable vertical extrusion of the lower anterior teeth during clear aligner treatment;3.There was only a moderate correlation between the inclination movement design and the expression of the actual inclination movement of teeth, while there was a strong correlation between the sagittal movement design and the expression of the actual inclination movement of teeth in the clear aligner;4.After wearing the first stage appliance, the patients’ teeth are aligned;5.After wearing the first stage appliance, the patients’ initial malocclusion was improved to some extent;6.There was a weak correlation between the difficulty of initial treatment and the efficacy of the treatment. |
