| Objective:To describe Post-traumatic Growth status of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury during the recovery period,and to identify the influencing factors of Post-traumatic Growth.The aim of this study is to provide a basis for medical staffs to carry out theoretical researches and clinical practice of trauma psychology,and to provide guidance for promoting the psychological health of patients with spinal cord injury.Methods:The descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 186 convenient selected traumatic spinal cord injury patients being hospitalized in department of rehabilitation of Liaoning Provincial Rehabilitation Medical Center from September 2019 to September 2020.Post-traumatic Growth was measured by the Post Traumatic Growth Inventory(C-PTCI).Revised Life Orientation Test Scale(LOT-R),Simple Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),General information questionnaire were used to measure influencing factors.Epidata 3.1 software was used to input data,and SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze data.Multiple linear regressions were used to determine the influencing factors of Post-traumatic Growth.Results:(1)The average score of Post-traumatic Growth was(55.01±11.93).(2)There were significant differences in PTG among patients grouped by gender,age,education,income,injuried levels,and injury duration(P<0.05).(3)Optimistic personality orientation,injury duration,perceived social support,active coping,injuried levels,gender entered the regression model,explaining 54.8%of the total variation of Post-traumatic Growth.Conclusion:(1)Post-traumatic Growth was found in 39.8%of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury in the recovery period(2)Optimistic personality orientation,injury duration,perceived social support,active coping,injuried levels,and gender are influencing factors. |
