| Objective: Relying on the population epidemiological survey, the main dietary patterns of the population in Liaoning are obtained, and the epidemiological association between the main dietary patterns and chronic kidney disease is further explored, aiming to provide scientific basis and dietary guidance for the prevention and control of chronic kidney disease. Methods: A cross-sectional study based on a cohort of natural populations in the Northeast region, the study was conducted in Liaoning province from 2018 to 2019.After screening by inclusion and exclusion criteria,7927 participants were finally included.Chronic kidney disease is diagnosed based on the estimated glomerular filtration rate, proteinuria, and hematuria.Dietary data was obtained through food frequency questionnaire(FFQ),and the exploratory factor analysis was used to extract and determine the primary dietary pattern of the population. The multivariate unconditional logistic regression model explored the association between dietary patterns and chronic kidney disease. Results: 1.A total of 7927 participants were included in this study, and the detection rate of chronic kidney disease was 11.14%.The detection rate of females(13.64%)is higher than that of males(5.74%).BMI,smoking,drinking,and diabetes were statistically different between the CKD group and the non-CKD group. The glomerular filtration rate(e GFR)was higher in the non-CKD group than in the CKD group.2.The study population has identified three types of dietary patterns, healthy dietary patterns(vegetables, roots, fruits, beans and their products, eggs, grains, nuts, fish and seafood, milk and dairy products, sauces, refined rice noodles, pickled products),unhealthy diet patterns(processed meats, carbonated drinks, sweets, poultry, other meats, juices, milk and dairy products,alcohol),coffee-Tea diet(coffee, tea, animal meat, other meats, pickled products, sauces). In the unadjusted model, unhealthy diet patterns are positively correlated with chronic kidney disease [odds ratio(OR)=1.27,95% confidence interval(95%CI): 1.02-1.57],coffee-tea diet patterns are negatively correlated with chronic kidney disease(OR=0.63,95%CI: 0.51-0.77).After multi-factor adjustment, the association between the two dietary patterns and chronic kidney disease disappeared. No correlation between healthy diet patterns and chronic kidney disease was found. Conclusion: 1.The detection rate of chronic kidney disease in the adult survey population in Liaoning Province was 11.14%.Among them, the detection rate of the female population was significantly higher than that of the male population.2.The study extracted three main types of dietary patterns in Liaoning: healthy dietary patterns, unhealthy dietary patterns, and coffee-tea dietary patterns. After the adjustment of the multi-factor model, none of the three types of dietary patterns is statistically associated with chronic kidney disease. This cross-sectional study has enriched the areas of association between dietary patterns and chronic kidney disease. In the future, largescale population cohort studies are still needed for discussion and verification. |
