| Objects: To investigate the maximum phonation time(MPT)of 3-6 years old preschool children,explore its normal value and analyze the influencing factors.Methods: In 2020,151 healthy preschool children aged 3-6 years old were selected from kindergartens in Shenyang from Liaoning Province,then measured their MPT.The age,sex and MPT of 151 children were recorded and they were divided into 3-4years old group(12 males,18 females),4-5 years old group(14 males,16 females)and5-6 years old groups(48 males,43 females).The normal value of MPT were investigated and the effects of age and sex on MPT were analyzed.Among them,90subjects(48 males,42 females)recorded their height and weight and calculated their body mass index(BMI).According to their height,they were divided into less than1.1m group(n = 45),1.1m and above group(n = 45);according to their weight,they were divided into less than 20 kg group(n = 37),20 to less than 25 kg group(n = 37),25 kg and above group(n = 16);according to their BMI,they were divided into normal group(n = 49),overweight group(n = 8)and obese group(n = 33).The effects of height,weight and BMI on MPT were investigated.Among them,61 preschool children(26 males and 35 females)aged from 5 to 6 years old were divided into three groups according to their chest circumference: under 60 cm group(n = 31),60 to less than 70 cm group(n = 27)and 70 cm and above group(n = 3)to explore the effect of chest circumference on MPT.Results: A survey of 151 healthy preschooler children aged 3-6 years old found that the normal value of MPT for boys aged 3-4 years old was 4.96±1.27 s and girl was4.33±1.08 s.The normal value of MPT for boys aged 4-5 years old was 4.89±1.71 s and girl was 5.41 ±2.28 s.The normal values of MPT for boys aged 5-6 years old was6.93 ±2.29 s and girl was 7.98 ±3.33 s.The analysis showed that age had an effect on MPT(P < 0.01),and MPT increased with age;while gender had no significant effect on MPT of preschool children aged 3-6 years(P > 0.05).A survey of 90 healthy preschool children aged 3-6 years old found that the MPT of the group below 1.1m was 4.48 ±1.19 s,1.1m and above group was 6.16 ±2.14 s.The analysis showed that height had an effect on MPT(P < 0.01),the taller the height,the greater the MPT.The MPT of the group less than 20 kg was 4.77 ±1.29 s,the group 20 to less than 25 kg was5.41 ±1.92 s,the group 25 kg and above was 6.37 ±2.67 s.The analysis showed that the effect of body weight on MPT was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),and the effect of different BMI groups on MPT was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).61 healthy preschool children aged 5-6 years old were investigated.It was found that the effect of chest circumference on MPT was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between age and MPT value of preschool children;the effect of gender on MPT value is not obvious in preschool children aged3-6 years old;height is positively correlated with MPT value of preschool children,with the increase of weight,the MPT value of preschool children tends to increase,but the effect of weight on MPT is not statistically significant.The MPT of overweight group was higher than the normal group,and the obese group was lower than the normal group,which may be related to the effect of obesity on MPT,but the effect of different BMI groups on MPT was not statistically significant.In healthy preschool children aged 5-6 years,the effect of chest circumference on MPT was not statistically significant. |
