| ObjectiveUACS(Upper Airway Cough Syndrome)is one of the three major reasons cause of chronic cough in children.Because of Spanning the two major fields of otolaryngology and paediatrics,it always be Misdiagnosed,missed diagnosed and mistreated,which cause the disease to recur.Therefore,Improving the diagnostic rate of disease,developing an effective treatment Is an urgent task for medical workers.This clinical research was aimed to observe the Clinical effect of treatment to Upper Airway Cough Syndrome of children with traditional Chinese Medicine Chaipu decoction.Discuss on the effective method of traditional Chinese Medicine in the treatment of the Disease,to improve the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine on Upper Airway Cough Syndrome in children further.methodThe subject of the study is children with upper airway cough syndrome caused by allergic rhinitis.Then,divide the 43 children who meet the inclusion criteria into Chinese medicine group and western medicine group.Traditional Chinese medicine group was given traditional Chinese medicine decoction Qaipu decoction,which is contain Chaihu,Fabanxia,Fuling,Huangqin,Heizao,Taizishen,Houpu,Gancao,Zisuye,Ganjiang,a daily,oral sub – second,aftermeals.The western medicine group is given the treatment of allergic rhinitis,which include Momethasone furoate nasal spray,Montelukast sodium chewable tablets and Loratadine Syrup.The course of two group of treatment are all 14 days.Observe and record the changes of clinical symptom and sign score before and after treatment in two groups,statistical analysis to evaluate the therapeutic effects of the two groups.Results1.A total of 43 children were included in this study,three of them exit the research because two of them could not insist on treatment and one was allergic to the Chaipu decoction,2.Curative effect analysis: After treatment,the clinical control rate of TCM group was 5%,which the significant efficiency of 30%,the effective rate is 65%.The total effective rate is 100.Besides,the clinical control rate of the western medicine group was 0,which the significant efficiency of 20%,the effective rate is 80%.The total effective rate is 100.Through the analysis by statistical software SPSS 22.0,there was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.3.Symptom integral analysis: Comparative total score before and after treatment,There was statistical difference in symptom improvement before and after treatment both in traditional Chinese medicine group and western medicine group.There was no statistical difference between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.Compare the symptoms of cough,expectoration,runny nose,nasal congestion,nasal itching,and pharyngeal signs,It was found that symptom scores were significantly reduced in both groups after treatment,which has statistical significance.We can conclude the curative effect is certain of both two treatments.But there was no statistical difference between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.But there was no statistical difference between the Chinese medicine group and the western medicine group.Symptoms of sneezing,there was no significant difference in symptom score before and after treatment in western medicine group.As a result,there was no significant improvement in sneezing symptoms.Conclusion1.The traditional Chinese medicine firewood and magnolia decoction is effective in treating infantile upper airway cough syndrome,In cough,expectoration,runny nose,nasal obstruction,itching and other clinical symptoms and pharynx signs,etc.,there has been significant improvement.It is a feasible prescription of traditional Chinese medicine.2.Standard treatment of allergic rhinitis in western medicine group,which include Momethasone furoate nasal spray,Monster sodium chewable tablet,loratadine syrup,has effective effect on Upper Airway Cough Syndrome in children.It is an effective treatment method in clinic. |
