| Objective1.Explore the comfort experience of gynecological surgery patients in the preoperative waiting room, and understand the true psychological experience of gynecological surgery patients and their comfort needs.2.The comfort theory is used to construct a comfortable nursing intervention plan for patients undergoing gynecological surgery in the preoperative waiting room, and the application effect of the intervention plan in the nursing of patients undergoing gynecological surgery in the preoperative waiting room is explored.Methods1.Using the purpose sampling method, selecting patients undergoing gynecological surgery in a third-class general hospital in Qingdao from March 2020 to October 2020 as the research objects, using phenomenological research methods in qualitative research, and formulating interview outlines based on comfort theory and literature research. The patients conducted semi-structured in-depth interviews, and the sample size was determined according to the principle of information saturation. The interview data was analyzed using the Colaizzi seven-step analysis method, and the theme was finally formed.2.Using the convenience sampling method,92 cases of gynecological surgery patients in a third-class general hospital in Qingdao were selected from November 2020 to February2021,and they were divided into two groups according to the order of the operation date,of which November 1,2020 to December 31,2020 46 gynecological surgery patients on the day were the control group and received routine care in the preoperative waiting room;from January 1,2020 to February 28,2021,46 gynecological surgery patients were the experimental group, and the comfortable nursing intervention program was implemented. The Chinese version of the Comfort Status Scale and the State Anxiety Scale were used to assess the comfort and preoperative anxiety of the two groups of patients, record the patients’ blood pressure and heart rate, and investigate the patient’s satisfaction with the preoperative waiting room care services.Measurement data subject to normal distribution are described by the mean± standard deviation;those that do not follow the normal distribution are described by median and quartile;count data are described by frequency and percentage;measurement data are described by t-test or rank sum test, and the degree of nursing satisfaction was one-way ordered qualitative data. The rank sum test was used for statistical analysis to evaluate the intervention effect.Results1.This study conducted interviews with 12 gynecological surgery patients in the preoperative waiting room, and analyzed the interview data to extract four themes and eight sub-themes,namely physical comfort experience(pain, dry mouth, thirst and hunger);psychological comfort experience(preoperative anxiety and other negative emotions, strong sense of uncertainty in illness);experience in environmental comfort(noisy people, too simple surroundings);social and cultural comfort(lack of support and encouragement from medical staff, lack of encouragement and support from family members).2.On the day before surgery, there were no statistically significant differences in general information, comfort and state anxiety scores, blood pressure, and heart rate between the two groups of gynecological surgery patients(P>0.05).After entering the preoperative waiting room, the overall comfort score of the experimental group(92.52±6.42)was higher than that of the control group(83.41±9.42),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The state anxiety score of the control group(39.17±7.037)was significantly higher In the experimental group(35.24±4.275),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood pressure and heart rate of the control group were higher than those of the experimental group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of "satisfied" was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Gynecological surgery patients have many comfort needs in the preoperative waiting room.Nurses should take targeted nursing measures based on the actual comfort requirements of gynecological surgery patients in the preoperative waiting room to further enhance the comfort and nursing experience of patients.2.Comfortable nursing intervention programs can effectively improve the comfort of patients undergoing gynecological surgery in the preoperative waiting room, reduce the level of preoperative anxiety, improve the changes in the two physiological indicators of blood pressure and heart rate of patients under stress, and improve patients’ satisfaction with nursing services. |
