With the development of virtual reality technology and its related technologies,the application fields of virtual reality technology are becoming more and more extensive.In the medical field,virtual reality technology has shown broad application prospects in medical applications such as medical teaching and surgical simulation.Under the background of the continuous deepening of the aging of our society,the incidence of cardiovascular diseases is rising year after year,and more and more patients are suffering from sequelae due to stroke,and the medical resources of hospitals or rehabilitation centers are increasingly insufficient.In addition,due to the cost of treatment and subjectivity,some patients do not receive adequate and effective rehabilitation training.Therefore,a walking rehabilitation system based on virtual reality was designed and realized to help stroke patients to better perform walking rehabilitation training.Combining hardware devices such as rehabilitation walker and virtual reality glasses box,the core requirements of the system were analyzed around the core goal of walking rehabilitation training for lower limbs.After a detailed requirements analysis,the overall structure of the system is given,and then the system is divided into four modules: walker data module,user module,boundary module,and game module.In the data transmission between the system and the rehabilitation walker,the interface is written in Android first,and the interface is called in Unity3 D to get the data of the rehabilitation walker.Use the Unity3 D game engine to complete the development of the system interface and functional modules,and build virtual scenes.By using the Unity3 D XR plug-in,the scene is displayed on separate screens,combined with the virtual reality glasses box,and the scene is presented in virtual reality.By using the virtual reality technology,the virtual game scene is presented to the user in a realistic way,and by integrating the collected realistic training site information into the virtual scene,to ensure the safety of patients during the use of the system,which reflects the feasibility and innovation of the system.Combining the relevant knowledge of rehabilitation and medical care and the actual situation of the user to design the game scene,which reflects the practicality of the system.The test results of the system show that the system meets the walking rehabilitation needs of stroke patients,and the system can run stably and can be tried and promoted in the community.
