Xiao Chaihu Decoction For Treatment Of Obesity Type 2 Diabetes Clinical Study On Damp-heat Stasis Syndrome

Objective:to understand the therapeutic effect of Minor Decoction of Bupleurum in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome,to explore its mechanism,and provide evidence for the treatment of obese type 2 diabetic patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:among the patients who were examined inThe Department of Endocrinology,Changji State Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Xinjiang From January 2020 to January 2021,60 pateints whom diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and belong to the classification of damp-heat stasis syndrome together with obesity were chosen,then randomly divided into control group and experimental group with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given basic treatment:metformin hydrochloride tablets,oral,treatment group:basic treatment of metformin hydrochloride tablets plus Minor Decoction of Bupleurum oral treatment,treatment cycle 8 weeks,Collect case analysis data and statistical analysis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Minor Decoction of Bupleurum in the treatment of obese type 2 diabetic patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome.Results:The scores of traditional hinese medicine(TCM)syndrome in patients with obesity type 2 diabetes treated with Minor Decoction of Bupleurum showed that the total effective rate of the experimental group was 37.04%and that of the control group was 11.54%.Analysis results:Study on Minor Decoction of Bupleurum in Treating Obesity Type 2 Diabetes with Damp-heat Stasis Syndrome,TCM syndrome efficacy test group is better than the control group.Through the relevant indicators(Fasting blood glucose,2 hours postprandial blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,blood lipids,body mass index,TCM syndrome score,curative effect)before and after treatment between the two groups,It is confirmed that Xiao Chai Hu Decoction has a certain contribution to the management of blood sugar and blood lipids in obese type 2 diabetes patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome.Conclusion:For obese type 2 diabetes patients with damp-heat stasis syndrome,adding traditional Chinese medicine to the basic treatment of Minor Decoction of Bupleurum can improve the patient’s TCM clinical syndromes,and related metabolic indicators show that it can improve blood sugar and other indicators,additionally the clinical efficacy is better than that of metformin alone,However,the test on weight loss related indicators has not obtained superior results,and further studies are needed.
