| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy, safety and recurrence rate of Chinese herbal medicine combined with halometasone in the treatment of damp-heat stasis type erythema nodosum. Methods: A total of 78 patients with erythema nodosum with dampness and heat stasis were enrolled in this study from October 1,2019 to October 1,2021 in the dermatology department of Hubei Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.According to the principle of random allocation, there were 39 patients in the control group and39 patients in the treatment group. The treatment group was orally treated with dialectical Traditional Chinese medicine, one dose per day, decocted in water and taken twice in the morning and evening half an hour after meal.Control group was given nude purple pearl dispersive tablets orally,3 times a day,2 tablets each time. Each group was treated for a course of treatment of 10 days, and 3 courses of treatment were observed continuously. On the basis of oral medication, patients in both groups received external application of halometasone cream, every 10 days as a course of treatment, the first course of treatment, twice a day;Second course of treatment, once a day;Third course of treatment, once every other day;Continuous observation for 3 courses. The peripheral blood ESR and ASO,clinical symptom score, efficacy score and quality of life index(DLQI)of 2 groups were observed before and after treatment, respectively, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment and recurrence one month after treatment were observed. The obtained data were analyzed and processed by SPSS26.0 software. Results: 1.A total of 78 patients with erythema nodosum were included in this study. Before treatment, there were no significant differences in age, gender, course of disease, symptoms and signs between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Clinical symptom score: After the course of treatment, the clinical symptom score of the two groups decreased significantly compared with that before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant; The clinical symptom scores of the treatment group and the control group were significantly different after treatment.3.ESR and ASO: After treatment, the levels of ESR and ASO in peripheral blood of the 2 groups were significantly decreased, and the differences were statistically significant between the treatment group and the control group.4.Efficacy: The total effective rate in the treatment group was87.18% higher than 66.67% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.Quality of life score: After the treatment course, the quality of life score of both the treatment group and the control group decreased significantly, and the quality of life score of the treatment group improved significantly compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.6.Recurrence rate: 1 month after the completion of treatment, all cured patients in the two groups were followed up.The recurrence rate of 4.16% in the treatment group was significantly lower than17.65% in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).7.Safety: During the treatment, all patients in the treatment group and control group had no adverse reactions during the experiment, and the treatment plan was relatively safe. Conclusion: Internal administration of Chinese medicine combined with external application of halmetasone has better clinical effect, low recurrence rate, high safety and worthy of clinical application. |
