Rules Of Acupoint Selection In Treatment Of Sciatica With Acupuncture And Moxibustion Based On Data Mining Technology

[Objective]To analyze the rule of acupoint selection in treating sciatica by acupuncture-moxibustion with data mining technology and further reveal the internal characteristics of acupoint combination.[Methods]Using computer retrieval,the relevant clinical trials of acupuncture and moxibustion in treatment of sciatica were searched from China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform（Wanfang）,VIP Chinese Journal Service Platform（VIP）,Chinese biomedical literature database（CBM）,PubMed Database,Web of science,Embase and Cochrane Library.The articles were screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and then the database was set up and the acupoint prescriptions of acupuncture and moxibustion were extracted.Using Excel 2019 software,the data were processed and the frequency analysis was conducted.With IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0,the association rules were analyzed.Using Gephi 0.9.2,the complex network analysis was conducted.[Results]1.Finally,a total of 232 articles were included,with 311 prescriptions and 98 acupoints involved.According to the Jadad scale,the methodological quality of the trials was low（High-quality literature accounts for only 9.48%of total amount）.2.The methods for treatment of sciatica included acupuncture therapy,acupuncture and medicine combined treatment,electroacupuncture,warm-needle moxibustion etc.The common types of syndrome differentiation are blood stasis syndrome,cold-dampness syndrome,liver and kidney deficiency syndrome and damp-heat stasis syndrome.The acupoints with high use frequency were GB 30,BL 40,GB 34,BL 57,BL 25,BL 60,BL 23.The meridians involved with high frequency were the bladder meridian of foot-taiyang,the gall bladder meridian of foot-shaoyang,the spleen meridian of foot-taiyin,etc.The specific points involved were the He points,Xiahe points Back-shu points and Eight-convergent points.3.In association rule analysis（confidence ≥ 80%,support ≥ 40%）,there were 33 association rules in total.The acupoint combination with the highest support referred to "BL 40→GB 30"（support 84.03%）.The confidence of all the acupoint combination ranks from 80%to 100%.With comprehensive comparison,acupoint combination with the highest confidence and support was "GB 30→BL 54,GB 34"（confidence 100%,support 30.17%）.4.The main prescription was composed of GB 30,BL 40,BL 25,BL 57,BL 23,BL 37,BL 60,DU 3,SP 6,GB 34,GB 39,GB 31,BL 54,BL 36,BL 32,BL 36,DU 4,GB 41,KI 3,SP 9,LR 3,ST 36,GB 40,GB 33,SP 10,Ashi points,EX-B2.[Conclusion]Acupuncture-moxibustion therapy has a certain of rules of acupoint selection in treatment of sciatica.All these summaries provide the reference and guidance for clinical application and scientific research.First of all,there are several kinds of acupuncture treatments for sciatica.The combination therapy is more frequently used than single therapy.Electroacupuncture combined with fire acupuncture is the most effective method in all treatments.Secondly,data mining results show the importance of bladder meridian of foot sun and gall bladder meridian of foot Shaoyang in the treatment of sciatica by acupuncture-moxibusion.By stimulating He acupoint,Xiahe acupoint and Back-shu acupoint,we can regulate qi and blood of meridians and promote qi movement,thereby improving the symptoms of low back or leg pain.Thirdly,the main three syndrome differentiations of sciatica are blood stasis syndrome,the core acupoint group of which is BL 17-SP 10-LR 3,cold-dampness syndrome,the core acupoint group of which is BL 23-DU 4-DU 3,liver and kidney deficiency syndrome,the core acupoint group of which is DU 4-KI 3-LR 3-BL 23,damp-heat syndrome,the core acupoint group of which is SP 9-LR 2-SP 6.Finally,complex network analysis shows a complex network diagram with small-world characteristics.It indicates that some acupoints are more important than other acupoints.
