| Objective To provide evidence-based medicine for clinical treatment of rotator cuff tear by systematically evaluating the clinical effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy treating rotator cuff tear,it also gives better options to patients and improves quality of care. Methods To search for the randomized controlled trials related to the treatment of rotator cuff injury by ESWT in Chinese and foreign databases such as CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu,Pubmed,SinoMed.According to the inclusion criteria, general feature extraction and quality evaluation were carried out.The content of data extraction included:patient gender, age, intervention measures, treatment time, outcomes, classification of rotator cuff injury, etc. And then the meta analysis was performed by Revman 5.3.Sensitivity analysis and publication bias analysis were then performed. The sensitivity analysis used the method of eliminating literature one by one,and the funnel plot method was used for publication bias. Results Relying on established retrieval methods,14 articles were included,881patients in total, all patients were partially torn, and the adverse reactions were mild.Meta-analysis results showed that the ESWT group was more effective than the control group in alleviating the patients’ shoulder joint pain and improving the patients’ shoulder joint function and range of motion. Conclusion Extracorporeal shock wave therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine therapy can effectively reduce the pain of patients with rotator cuff tear compared with the control group, and can improve the function of shoulder joint, and ESWT is safer than other treatments. |
