Case Study On COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention And Control In Cangxi County

In recent years,various public health events have occurred frequently,especially the COVID-19 virus,which is an unprecedented disaster in human history and has brought tremendous changes to human society.When a public crisis occurs,people’s governments around the country must have strong emergency handling capacity to protect the interests of the people.Only by improving the emergency management system and strengthening the prevention and study of major public health emergencies,can people’s lives and property be ensured.Local people’s governments,especially county-level governments,as the first-line emergency departments at the grass-roots level,are the key and basic link in dealing with all kinds of public health emergencies.Although county-level governments have made some progress and achievements in the emergency handling and management of public health emergencies,there are still deficiencies in emergency management and emergency handling capacity due to differences in economic and social development in different regions.Therefore,this paper focuses on the study of how to deal with public health emergencies by county government authorities.This article selects the COVID-19 have won praise in epidemic prevention and control of sichuan province cangxi county as a case,many public health emergencies emergency management at home and abroad,and the relevant literature,to sum up,the study of domestic and foreign experience and results,based on the theory of emergency management and public governance theory,according to the theory of crisis life cycle phase four case studies.First of all,based on the theory of emergency management,this paper analyzes the actual situation of the questionnaire and interview,and comprehensively describes the COVID-19 prevention and control case of Cangxi County by retrieving relevant literature and statistical data,and summarizes its main practices and successful experience.Then,using the crisis life cycle theory,it divides four stages,intuitively analyzes the methods and countermeasures of cangxi County people’s Government in the COVID-19 outbreak,and analyzes the prevention and control measures and effects of the whole process.Finally,the experience for reference and promotion of epidemic prevention and control in Cangxi County was summarized,and the strategies for improving epidemic prevention and control in county-level governments were put forward.Based on the case study of COVID-19 prevention and control in Cangxi County,it is suggested that after the normalization of epidemic prevention and control,we should focus on how to improve the emergency management system,promote the transformation from passive defense to active defense,and establish the awareness of crisis life-cycle management when facing public health emergencies like COVID-19.As a whole,this paper draws the following four enlightenment: First,pay attention to the construction of emergency support system,reduce the possible harm in the symptom period of the epidemic.Second,based on the study of the theory of emergency management,strengthen the ability of emergency response,and reduce the harm caused by the epidemic as much as possible through orderly organization during the outbreak period.Third,research on the theory of public governance,reasonable joint prevention and control in the stalemate period of the epidemic to ensure public health and safety.Fourth,adhere to the concept of putting people first and putting life first,make every effort to ensure recovery while normalizing prevention and control,and recover losses to the maximum extent possible during the recovery period.
