Objectives:1.To explore the status of supportive care needs, depression and anxiety of postoperative gastric cancer patients.2.To analyze the influencing factors of supportive care needs of postoperative patients with gastric cancer and to provide references to formulate the intervention measures to meet the patients’ needs.Methods:1.A total of 345 postoperative gastric cancer residents were rec r-uited from 2 grade A hospitals from March 2020 to December 2020,and they were investigated by general information questionnaire,su-pportive care needs scale(SCNS-SF34),and Hospital anxiety and de-pression scale(HADS).SPSS23.0 software was used to analyze the collected questionnaires.2.SPSS23.0 was used for data analyze.Descriptive statistics analyze the level of supportive care needs of patients after gastric cancer.Statistics analysis of differences in supportive care needs between gastric cancer patients with different demographic characteristics and disease related conditions by one-way ANOVA(P<0.05 is statistically significant). The relationship between supportive care needs level and anxiety and depression level was analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis. The statistically significant variables in the single factor analysis were selected as the independent variables, and the supportive care needs as the dependent variables for multiple linear regression analysis to find out the main influencing factors of supportive care needs of postoperative patients with gastric cancer.Results:1.In this study,346 questionnaires were issued and 345 valid questionnaires were returned, and the effective survey rate were99.7%.There were 239 males and 106 females and the average age of them were(60.47±9.85)years.2.The total score of support care needs of patients with gastric cancer was(114.76±10.63),the average score of each dimension item from high to low was health information needs(45.97±5.20),psychological needs(29.58±4.95),care and support needs(18.09±2.99),physiology and daily life needs(15.00±2.34),sexual needs(6.12±1.11).The anxiety score of patients after gastric cancer surgery was(12.81±2.65)points,and the depression score was(13.03±2.96)points.Among them,23.5% of patients had severe anxiety, and 28.4% of patients had severe depression.3.Correlation analysis between anxiety and depression and supportive care needs showed that, the degree of anxiety and depression of patients after gastric cancer surgery was positively correlated with the need for supportive care(P<0.01).4.The single factor analysis of the supportive care needs of patients with gastric cancer showed that there were differences in age, occupation, postoperative chemotherapy, living style, clinical stage, and KPS score(P<0.05).5.The main influencing factors of supportive care needs of patients after gastric cancer surgery were : age, whether chemotherapy after surgery, professional status, living style.1)The main influencing factors of the physiology and daily life needs of patients after gastric cancer were:marital status, average family income, postoperative chemotherapy, professional status, clinical staging, operation method.2)The main influencing factors of psychological needs were:education level, age, living style, and whether there is chemotherapy after surgery.3)The main influencing factors of sexual needs were :education level.4)The main influencing factors of care and support needs were :living style, postoperative chemotherapy,KPS score.5)The main influencing factors of health information needs of patients after gastric cancer were :age, education level, living style.Conclusion:1.The total score of supportive care needs of postoperative patients with gastric cancer is at a moderate level, and the scores of health information needs are the highest, medical personnel should provide support.2.Anxiety and depression are common in postoperative patients with gastric cancer. The degree of anxiety and depression is closely related to the levels of supportive care needs. It is recommended that clinical medical personnel strengthen the psychological evaluation and health education of patients, give patients more emotional support and spiritual comfort, reduce the patient’s depression, thereby reducing the patient’s unmet need for supportive care.3.Age,professional status, clinical staging, whether chemotherapy after surgery, living style and KPS score have statistical significance in the total score of supportive care needs of patients with gastric cancer after operation. It is suggested that medical staff should consider individual difference in clinical work and provide corresponding nursing plan and health education contents for different characteristic patients. We should especially pay attention to patients who are younger, farming, are in advanced stage of cancer, live alone, has a low KPS score.
