Clinical Observation Of Banxia Xiexin Tang In Children With Purpuric Nephritis(Isolated Hematuria)of Cold And Heat Mixed Pattern

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Banxia Xiexin Tang in the treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(isolated hematuria type)with cold and heat mixed syndrome.Methods: A total of 72 children aged 3-18 years who were diagnosed with Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis(isolated hematuria type)and met the cold and heat mixed syndrome in the Department of Pediatrics,Sichuan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to December 2020 were randomly divided into the control group by SPSS random number method in equal proportion,with 36 cases in each group.The drugs used in the control group were modified Banxia Xiexin Tang and Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets for 8weeks.Results: There were 5 drop-out cases during the study(among them,1 child was hospitalized due to bronchopneumonia,the child’s family members asked to withdraw from the trial,and 1 child was lost to follow-up;3 children’s family members felt poor therapeutic effect and withdrew from the trial by themselves),and the number of cases finally completed was 67,including 39 males and 28 females.(1)Disease efficacy: The overall response rate of treatment 4 in the test group was 41.18% and 30.30%,respectively,with no statistical difference(P = 0.214 >0.05);the treatment 8 was 85.29% and 69.70%,respectively,with better therapeutic efficacy in the test group(P = 0.025 < 0.05).(2)Efficacy of TCM: The total effective rates of TCM in the two groups were64.71% and 54.55%,respectively,with no statistical difference(P = 0.578 > 0.05);the total effective rates of TCM in the two groups were 91.18% and 63.64%,respectively,and the therapeutic efficacy of the test group was better(P = < 0.05).(3)TCM score: 4 cases were treated,P > 0.05,without statistical difference;8cases were treated to improve the number of hematuria,rash,rash color,abdominal fullness,poor appetite,loose stools and total score of TCM(P < 0.05),with no statistical difference in the data of limb drowsiness,vomiting hiccup and bitter taste(P > 0.05).(4)Comparison of urine red blood cells and occult blood group: Modified Banxia Xiexin Tang and Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets had therapeutic effect in improving urine occult blood and red blood cells(P < 0.05).(5)Comparison of urinary red blood cells and occult blood cells: there was no statistical significance in the treatment of 4(P > 0.05);in the treatment of 8(P > 0.05),the efficacy of modified Banxia Xiexin Tang in improving urinary occult blood and red blood cells was better than that of Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycoside tablets(P< 0.05).(6)No serious adverse effects were observed during the trial in either group.Conclusion:Modified Banxia Xiexin Tang in the treatment of HSPN(isolated hematuria type)cold and heat mixed syndrome clinical efficacy was exact,no obvious adverse reactions.
