A Preliminary Study On The Correlation Between Lower Nose Armor Shrinking Nasal Disease And Sentiment,based On The "Five-degree Dialectical Theory"

Objective: This study,by investigating and counting the sentimental status of patients with lower nose armor shrinking nasal disease who were treated at the otolaryngology clinic in our hospital,compared the indicators of factor points and total symptom index of each dimension of the scale,summarized the sentimental status of patients with lower nose armor shrinking nasal disease.At the same time,the relationship between the emotional factors and the reduction of inferior turbinate was analyzed,combined with the theory of "five-degree dialectics of the nose",to explore the theoretical link between nasal diseases and emotional factors,and to provide theoretical reference for the intervention of Traditional Chinese Medicine in patients with nasal diseases with emotional disorders.Methods: The selected cases in this study were patients with nasal diseases who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the Department of Otolaryngology,Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine from June 2019 to December 2020.General information(name,gender,age,educational background,course of disease,history of endoscopic sinus surgery,etc.)was recorded.The inferior turbinate(normal or reduced)was recorded under the anterior nasal endoscope.The questionnaire survey was conducted by using the emotion survey scale,and the statistical results were entered into the data.SPSS 25.0 was used for statistical analysis.Objective to compare the emotional status of patients with inferior turbinate constriction rhinopathy with the domestic norm,summarize the emotional status of patients with inferior turbinate constriction rhinopathy.At the same time,the relationship between the scores of emotional factors and the reduction of inferior turbinate was analyzed to explore the correlation between the scores of emotional factors and the reduction of inferior turbinate.Results: This topic collected a total of 160 questionnaires.Among them,1)patients with lower nose armor shrinking nasal disease were compared with domestic normal models,anxiety(1.61±0.26),depression(1.58±0.23),terror(1.42±(0.20),paranoia(1.54±0.22)factor score is higher than the domestic normal model,the difference is statistically significant.2)The degree of reduction of the lower nasal armor is different,the positive rate of emotional screening is different,with the heavier the degree of reduction of the lower nasal armor,the higher the screening-positive rate,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).3)Anxiety(rs = 0.259),depression(rs = 0.418)and hostility(rs = 0.173)were positively correlated with the degree of inferior turbinate reduction,wherein depression(rs=0.418)had the highest correlation with the degree of inferior turbinate reduction(P < 0.05).The correlation between the occurrence of phobia(rs=0.047),paranoia(rs=0.012)and the degree of lower nasal atrial shrunk was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1)Patients with inferior turbinate constriction nasal disease are higher than the domestic normal model in four aspects: anxiety,depression,terror and paranoia,and have different degrees of emotional disorders.2)Anxiety,depression and hostility were positively correlated with the degree of inferior turbinate reduction,wherein depression had the highest correlation with the degree of inferior turbinate reduction.3)Patients with inferior turbinate constriction nasal disease,especially those with severe reduction of inferior turbinate,should pay attention to the patient’s emotional status,so as to meet the requirements of the current social-psycho-biomedical model,which is crucial to improve the effectiveness of comprehensive treatment and improve the medical environment.
