Clinical Efficacy Of Ermiao Powder Combined With Xiangmu Huoxue Powder In The Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis

Objective: To provide theoretical support for Ermiao San and Xiangmu Huoxue San in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis(dampness-heat stasis syndrome),and to evaluate the safety of the use of Ermiao San and Xiangmu Huoxue San in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis by adding western medicine to the treatment of acute gouty arthritis.Methods: In this study,82 patients with acute gouty arthritis(dampness-heat stasis syndrome)were Collected,and the patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.The two group was given loxoprofen sodium tablets orally,and the experimental group(EG)was treated with Ermiao San and Xiangmu Huoxue San,with a course of 6 days.The efficacy and safety indexes before and after treatment of 2 groups were recorded and compared to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ermiao San and Xiangmu Huoxue San Results: 1.After treatment of 2 groups,the TCM symptoms and arthritis points were lower than the treatment(P < 0.05),and the efficacy of EG was superior to the control group(CG)(P < 0.05).2.In GEE analysis,there was no clear difference in the score of FPS-R after two treatments(P > 0.05).The score for 1 to 6 days after treatment was below the treatment(P < 0.05).After 1 to 3 days of treatment,the difference of FPS-R score between 2 groups was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).After 4 to 6 days of treatment,the difference of FPS-R score between 2 groups was statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.In GEE analysis,there was no clear difference in the score of swelling between the two treatments(P > 0.05).The score for 2,4,6 days after treatment was below the treatment(P < 0.05).After 2 day of treatment,the difference of swelling score between 2 groups was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).After 4 and 6 days of treatment,the difference of swelling score between 2 groups was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).4.The efficiency of EG was 92.1%,and CG was 81.6%(P > 0.05).The significant efficiency of EG was 36.8%,and CG was 36.8%(P < 0.05).5.After treatment of 6 days,CRP,ESR,and UA of 2 groups decreased compared to before(P < 0.05).CRP and ESR of EG decreased more significantly(P <0.05),and the difference of 2 groups in UA was no statistical significance(P > 0.05).6.There were no clear differences in safety indicators between two groups after treatments(P > 0.05).There were 3 cases of shedding in 2 groups,and the abscission rate was 7.3%,which was within the controllable range.Conclusion: Ermiao San+Xiangmu Huoxue San has a clear efficacy and good safety in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis.
