Clinical Observation Of Catgut Embedding At Nei Yingxiang Acupoint In The Treatment Of Perennial Allergic Rhinitis With(PAR)

Objective : In this subject,external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine was used to treat perennial allergic rhinitis.In this study,the therapeutic scheme of catgut embedding at Neiyingxiang acupoint was used to observe the patients,and to explore the improvement of subjective symptoms and objective signs of perennial allergic rhinitis by catgut embedding at Neiyingxiang acupoint,as well as the evaluation of safety.From the direction of external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to treat PAR,and using modern clinical scientific research methods for observation and evaluation,in order to interpret a more innovative treatment plan and provide an objective basis.Methods: Through the inclusion and exclusion criteria,70 suitable cases were selected.The rats were randomly divided into treatment group(Neiyingxiang acupoint catgut embedding group)and control group(Neiyingxiang acupoint sham catgut embedding group)by EXCEL software.In this study,there were 2 treatments,once every other week.The data of RQLQ score,symptom VAS score,turbinate swelling degree and safety grade were collected before treatment(day 0),1 week after the first treatment / first follow-up(day 7),2 weeks after the second treatment / first follow-up(day 21).The data of each group were statistically analyzed by spss20.0 system,and the baseline data and disease data pre-treatment of the two groups were compared and analyzed,as well as the self-control of each group before and after treatment.The differences of RQLQ score,symptom VAS score and endoscopic score before and after treatment were analyzed,and the differences between groups were compared.To explore the clinical efficacy of catgut embedding at Nei Yingxiang acupoint in the treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis.Results: There was no significant difference in demographic characteristics,vital signs,VAS score,RQLQ score and turbinate swelling between the two groups,indicating that the subjects in the two groups were comparable.Self-comparison of the condition of the subjects in the two groups:There were significant differences in VAS score,RQLQ score and turbinate swelling degree between the two groups before treatment and between the first follow-up,the pre-treatment and the second follow-up(P<0.05).Control group after treatment:The VAS score of each symptom and the degree of turbinate swelling were significantly different between the first follow-up and the second follow-up(P < 0.001).There was no significant difference in RQLQ score between the two groups at the first follow-up(P=0.303).And there was significant difference in the control group in the second follow-up(P <0.001).The two groups of subjects included in the study had no serious adverse reactions during the study period.Conclusion : Both Neiyingxiang acupoint catgut embedding and false catgut embedding can improve the symptoms,signs and quality of life of perennial allergic rhinitis.Acupoint catgut embedding has long-term effective stimulation due to the implantation of absorbable thread into local acupoints,so the curative effect on perennial allergic rhinitis is more lasting than that of sham catgut embedding.
