The Correlation Between Tongue Features And Renal Function Indexes In Patients With Type 2 Diabetic Nephropathy Based On Tongue Image Digital Technology

Objective: In this study,tongue image information of 317 patients with type 2diabetic nephropathy was collected,and the correlation between objective parameters of tongue image and renal function indexes was studied.To investigate the correlation between digital tongue image and renal function in patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy.It is expected to provide an auxiliary basis for the assessment of type 2diabetic nephropathy and the objectification of tongue diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine,and provide a theoretical basis for noninvasive clinical detection.Methods: A cross-sectional study method was adopted to select subjects that met the standards of intake and discharge in the inpatient department of Sichuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to November 2020.General data and laboratory indicators were collected,standard tongue images were collected and relevant parameters were extracted.The measurement data were normally tested and expressed as mean ± standard deviation or median(interquartile interval).Pearson correlation was used for data meeting normal distribution,while Spearman rank correlation was used for nonnormal distribution.Using multiple linear regression analysis method,the tongue image parameters related to the observation indexes were selected to establish the correlation model.The above analysis was carried out by SPSS25.0 software package,and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: 1.Results of comparison of general indexes: there were statistical differences in systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure and course of disease in different renal function stages of diabetic nephropathy patients(P <0.05),and showed an increasing trend among groups.2.Comparison results of glucose and lipid metabolism indexes: there were statistical differences among FBG,Hb A1 c and TC groups among the five groups(P <0.05),which showed an increasing trend with the decline of renal function.3.Comparison results of renal function related indexes: there were statistical differences in Scr,BUN,Cys C,Hcy,UA and UACR among the five groups(P <0.05),which gradually increased with the aggravation of renal function impairment.4.There were statistically significant differences in tongue parameters among the five groups,including TN-CON,TN-ASM,TN-ENT,TN-MEAN,TN-L,TN-La and TNLb(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).There were statistically significant differences in TC-Con,TCASM,TC-ENT,TC-MEAN,TC-L,TC-La and TC-Lb among the tongue coating parameter groups(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).5.Correlation analysis between tongue parameters and clinical indicators showed that there was a correlation between e GFR,Scr,BUN,Cys C,UACR,Hb A1 c and tongue parameters.(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).6.Multiple linear regression analysis of tongue parameters and clinical indicators showed that the correlation coefficients of TN-ENT,TN-L,TN-LA,TC-Con,TC-ENT,TC-L,TC-La,TC-Lb and e GFR were statistically significant.The correlation coefficients of TN-ENT,TN-L,TN-Lb,TC-ENTt,TC-Lb and Scr were statistically significant.The correlation coefficients of Tn-mean,TN-L,TN-La,TC-CON,TC-ENT,TC-L,TC-La,TC-Lb and BUN were statistically significant.The correlation coefficients of TN-ENT,TN-L,TN-La,TC-CON,TC-ENT,TC-La,TC-Lb and Cysc C were statistically significant.The correlation coefficients of TN-ENT,TN-L,TN-Lb,TC-CON,TC-ENT,TC-L,TC-Lb and Hb A1 c were statistically significant.Conclusions:1.There are differences in tongue parameters between different stages of renal function in type 2 diabetic nephropathy.2.The digital tongue image of diabetic nephropathy is correlated with the renal function indexes,and the tongue image parameters can reflect the changes of renal function indexes.3.Based on the organic combination of tongue image and biochemical indicators,there is a more objective reference basis for the evaluation of renal function in traditional Chinese medicine,which provides theoretical support for the evaluation of disease condition by non-invasive detection method of tongue diagnosis.
