| The continuous development of medical Chinese puts forward new requirements for the compilation of medical Chinese textbooks.Although medical Chinese as a branch of special-purpose Chinese teaching is obviously different from general Chinese teaching,its fundamental purpose is to cultivate students’ ability to communicate in Chinese.Therefore,the compilation of medical Chinese textbooks should also highlight this fundamental goal.This paper selects two sets of medical Chinese textbooks“Medical Chinese”and “Practical Medical Chinese Clinical”,which are based on the main medical genus,through the comprehensive investigation of form and content,we can understand the characteristics of the design of medical Chinese textbooks.At the same time,combined with the newly issued syllabus of Medical Chinese proficiency Test(MCT),this paper examines the content of teaching materials in vocabulary distribution and topic selection,hoping to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the two sets of textbooks,and to examine the matching degree between the two sets of textbooks and the syllabus.This paper is divided into six parts: the first chapter is introduction.This paper introduces the background,research objects and research methods of this paper,and studies the relevant theories of special-purpose Chinese teaching,medical Chinese teaching and medical Chinese textbooks.The second chapter is the comparison of the general situation of textbooks.From a macro point of view,this paper makes an overall analysis and research on the compiling principles and styles of the two sets of textbooks,and observes the development trend of medical Chinese textbooks from the perspective of diachronic development.The third chapter is the comparison of the vocabulary of teaching materials.In terms of form,the presentation and quantity distribution of vocabulary are investigated and compared with the MCT vocabulary syllabus.In terms of content,the medical vocabulary in the textbook is classified according to the characteristics of the medical specialty,and the phenomenon of vocabulary codeswitching in the text conversation is observed on the basis of previous studies.The fourth chapter is the comparison of textbook texts.In form,it examines the genre and conversation quantity arrangement of the text,and compares the similarities and differences in the functional embodiment of the text from the perspective of medical topic,communicative context and conversational style.The fifth chapter is the comparison of textbook exercises.This paper makes a statistical study on the type and quantity of the exercises from the aspect of form.In terms of content,based on the relevant standards in the syllabus of the Medical Chinese proficiency Test,the skill training of the textbook is investigated and compared with the requirements in the syllabus from four aspects: listening practice,reading practice,writing practice and communication practice.In view of the above research content,the sixth chapter puts forward some suggestions for the compilation of medical Chinese textbook from three aspects: setting medical Chinese content,expanding culture and Chinese character teaching,and complying with the trend of online teaching.I hope it can provide some new ideas for the design of medical Chinese textbooks in the future. |
