[Objective]:To evaluate the clinical effects of HIFU on uterine myoma.[Methods]:A total of 123 patients with uterine myomas(including multiple uterine myomas)admitted to Bengbu Third People’s Hospital from January2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research subjects,82 patients were selected for HIFU treatment. Before and after treatment, plain and enhanced pelvic MRI were performed to show the the size, location and blood supply of uterine myoma, calculate ablation range and evaluated the ablation rate;the improvement of clinical symptoms and the volume change of uterine myoma under color doppler ultrasound were compared before and after treatment.[Results]:MRI examination was performed within 48 hours after HIFU treatment, the ablation lesions showed high signal intensity in T1WI and low signal intensity in enhanced MRI.The ablation rate was calculated by measuring the volume of non-perfusion region, the overall effective rate was 89%;after the treatment, the clinical symptoms and quality of life of the patients were significantly improved, and no serious long-term complications occurred. After treatment, the volume of 100 uterine myoma decreased progressively in 82 patients. The median volume of uterine myoma before treatment was 58.06(36.20,86.46)cm~3,and it decreased to43.98(24.76,70.11)cm~3in the third month, month 6 was reduced to 28.69(15.05,53.26)cm3,the blood flow signal within the myoma was significantly lower than before treatment, the difference was significant(p<0.05).[Conclusion]:HIFU can effectively treat uterine myomas, ablate and degenerate the fibroids,so that the tumor no longer grows or even shrinks,so as to improve or treat the clinical symptoms of patients. This study shows that HIFU is a non-invasive,safe and effective treatment method, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
