Research On Clinical Nurses’ Knowledge Level And Practice Status Of Pressure Injury Nursing Technical Procedures | | Posted on:2022-11-22 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Z Miao | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2504306782986749 | Subject:Automation Technology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | ObjectiveInvestigate the knowledge level and clinical practice status of clinical nurse’s pressure injury(PI)nursing technical procedures,and analyze its influencing factors.Methods(1)The self-made "Pressure Injury Standardized Nursing Knowledge Questionnaire " was used to investigate the knowledge level of PI nursing tech nical procedures of 2109 clinical nurses by convenience sampling method.(2)42 clinical nurses from five tertiary hospitals of Gansu Provincial People’s Hospital,Lanzhou University First Hospital,Second People’s Hospital of Gansu Province,Baohua Hospital and Yuzhong County First People’s Hospital were selected as research objects to conduct wound care for PI patients,and used the self-made"Clinical Practice Checklist of Stress Injury Nursing Technical Procedures" to understand the clinical practice of their PI nursing technical procedures;16 clinical nurses were selected for semi-structured interviews using the purpose sampling method.To explore the influencing factors of clinical nurses in the application of PI nursing technical procedures.Results(1)The scores of 2109 clinical nurses on the knowledge of PI nursing technical procedures were between 15 and 95,with an average score of(63.50±14.35).The average score of PI assessment was(62.06±17.18)points,and the average score of PI nursing was(64.95±17.00)points.(2)The factors affecting the knowledge level of clinical nurses’ PI nursing technical procedures are:professional title,PI specialist training,education,age,PI nursing experience,and working years.(3)According to the statistical analysis of the items of the checklist,the total number of checklists(excluding unchecked items)is 29~40,and the number of qualified items in the 42 PI nursing technical regulations clinical practice checklists is 9~37.The scores ranged from 29.4 to 92.5,with an average score of(64.79±17.85).(4)The factor affecting the clinical practice level of clinical nurses’ PI nursing technical procedures is“Obtained the wound care specialty qualification".(5)Barriers influencing clinical nurses to apply PI nursing technical procedures:① The PI nursing management system is not perfect,which leads to insufficient attention of clinical nurses to PI nursing;②Insufficient PI specialist nursing training leads to lack of clinical nurses’ cognition and lack of nurses’ knowledge of PI nursing;③Insufficient human resources in the department;④The limitation of the patient’s own factors.(6)Supporting factors for clinical nurses to apply PI nursing technical pr ocedures include:①Effective supervision and management system;②Specialize d nurses play a leading role;③Strengthen training in hospital departments;④The clinical application effect of PI nursing technical regulations is obvious;⑤Clinical nurses’ learning initiative increases;⑥Clinical nurses’ sense of responsi bility for work increases;⑦Patients are satisfied.ConclusionIn this study,the knowledge level and practice status of clinical nurses’ PI nursing technical procedures were investigated and analyzed by combining quantitative and qualitative research methods.The results showed that the overall mastery of the knowledge level of clinical nurses’ PI nursing technical procedures was poor and affected by a variety of factors;the clinical practice level of clinical nurses’PI nursing technical procedures still needed to be improved,and nursing managers should formulate corresponding management measures according to the influencing factors to improve the knowledge and practice level of clinical nurses’ PI nursing technical procedures to improve the quality of PI nursing. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Clinical Nurse, Pressure Injury, Technical Standards of nursing, Level of knowledge, Clinical Practice, Influencing Factors | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
