The Analysis Of The Biases In The Study Of Fei Ming’s Works

Fei Ming is a special writer in the history of modern Chinese literature in the 20th century,his works have a great influence on the lyrical novels of the later ages.Although in the history of modern literature,he didn’t draw so much attention from others,more and more scholars jo in to study on him in contemporary times.In general,the study of Fei Ming and his works can be divided into three periods according to the time standard,that is:before 1949,1950 to 1979 and 1980 to the present.However,it must be pointed out that,although the study of Fei Ming has continued for decades and still updates today,there always exist similarities of topics and discourse.The limitations of vision in the previous studies are also extended to the current discussion.Study of Fei Ming’s poetry,poetics and prose is not enough and there is still a lean to the study of type of writing and the lyric feature.So.the problem of bias in the study of Fei Ming’s writing has existed for long.To let the study of Fei Ming get more improvements,a review of previous studies’ efforts and a discussion about the bias are imperative,New findings and revision of some prior problems can be enlightened in such process.Therefore,this paper will be composed of three parts.The first part will focus on the entire situation of the study of Fei Ming,review and analysis the first and the third stages of the study of Fei Ming’s works.The key points are the arise of the bias and the continuation of the bias.In the first stage of the study of Fei Ming’s writings,the critics were mostly writers and theorists.Their criticism mainly focused on the impression of their own intuition.It offered the critics a chance to be creative,but at the same time,their subjectivity obscured their sight,which also affected the comments on the choice of the angle of view and the expansion of the specific discussion.The study since the 1980s deepened the previous topics,however.the bias tendency has continued.The second chapter will offer some new points of Fei Ming’s works,including the importance ofFei Ming’s feeling and the deliberativity in his works.New views about the type of writing of Fei Ming’ works will also be offered.Then comes the last part of this paper.It will analysis the reason why the bias exists.The writer’s hidden intention is ignored.makes it unable to find Fei Ming’s psychological need——show his ideas and thoughts to the world.This negligence makes the failure to fully reflect the mutual relations of Fei Ming’s works.F urther discussion of the underlying causes of bias has to return to Fei Ming’s writings and the researchers themselves.The gap of the text makes it difficult to find a proper critical criteria,but also gives the critics a free space to develop their views.In this process,if the researchers do not pay attention to their subjectivity,it becomes easy to produce limits of version and lead to a certain degree of deviation.
