The Research About The Comment Of The Chinese-written Vietnamese Novel

The Chinese-written Vietnamese novels are the literary work written by the Vietnamese using Chinese language.These works not only have been deeply influenced by Chinese traditional culture,but also transplanted the story line,the personalities of the characters and the artistic structure from the Chinese classical fiction.Moreover,the Chinese-written Vietnamese novels have absorbed the form of the commentary of Chinese fiction which have been applied to the creation of literature then finally formed the phenomenon of the commentary of Chinese-written Vietnamese novels.This paper taken the commentary of Vietnamese Chinese novels as the research object,we analyzed the Vietnamese commentary text and compared it with Chinese fictional commentary,this article intend to illustrate the point of view that the Vietnamese commentary works show the social function,the value judgement of characters,the thinking of literary theory and the understanding of structure and narrative under the influence of Chinese culture.This paper can be divided into five chapters.Chapter one introduced the basic situation of Chinese-written Vietnamese novels commentary,based on the “Chinese-written Vietnamese novels series” and “Chinese-written Vietnamese novels integration”.Chapter two discussed the function of Vietnamese novels commentary.The function mainly included three parts.Part one was the historical function of adding history and advocating authenticity.Part two was the moralization function of summarizing content,advising readers and promoting Confucian ethics.Part three was the entertainment function of reading pleasure,advocating magical encounter and wonderland.Chapter three introduced the commentary on the characters in Vietnamese works.On one hand,Vietnamese commentators judged characters by Confucian moral standards about.On the other hand,they putted their emotions on the characters and resonated with them.At the same time,the discussion of the personality of the characters also began to sprout.Chapter four focused on the concept of literary criticism in Chinese-written Vietnamese novels commentary.Vietnamese commentators insisted in believing that the stories about gods are true,and they treated heroes as gods.Moreover,they thought gods would bless the devout man.Besides,the commentary reflected the literary theory about the inspiration that moved them to write and the emotion that touched readers.Chapter five studied the structure and narrative theory of Chinese-written Vietnamese novels commentary,including the arrangement of foreshadowing,the corresponding arrangement and the narrative technique of laying out and “iron into gold”.
