Shengjing is located in the south of the northeast plain.The northeast plain has warm climate,moderate rainfall and fertile soil.The Liao river runs through it,and the natural environment is superior.The unique geographical location and natural resources of the northeast plain make its agricultural development unique.At the beginning of the Qing dynasty,the social economy suffered great damage in the Shengjing area,which suffered from the war.In order to restore the economy of shengjing area and protect the rights of the banner people,the Qing government adopted a series of measures.In a certain sense,these measures have led to the rapid recovery and development of the damaged agriculture.This paper studies the agricultural development in Shengjing area from the perspective of historical geography,and discusses the distribution and planting structure of crops,aiming at the comprehensive method of regional historical geography.The article is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction gives a brief description of the concept,the current situation of the research and the basic historical materials used.The first part of the text elaborates the natural and social factors that affect the development of agriculture.The natural environment is closely related to the development of agriculture.Among them,climate,water conservancy,location,soil and so on affect the development of agriculture.Of course,the background of agricultural development is not to be ignored.The article has sorted out the track of agricultural development in the region before the Qing dynasty,and summarized the conditions of its agricultural development at the end of this part.Text in the second part,mainly discusses the number of population,cultivated land Shengjing area in Qing dynasty,and distribution of a detailed analysis in different times increase or decrease of labor resources and the reason for the cultivated land surplus shrinks.The third part of the text is the chapter 3-4,elaborates on the growth habit of important food crops in the region,the factors affecting its planting and the spatial and temporal distribution of crops.The purpose is to fully reveal the shengjing area during the period of history had planted crop varieties,distribution,planting structure,etc.,and on the basis of the analysis of the Qing dynasty Shengjing area distribution of crops and planting structure characteristics and influencing factors.Over the last part of the article is theory,mainly to the full text of the summary,at the same time,because of the Qing dynasty is the last dynasty in China’s feudal society,is also a stage in China’s agricultural development is extremely important,agricultural transformation of from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture,therefore,the conclusion part of agricultural modernization in Shengjing area are also briefly described,have certain data.
