Today,as the modern electronic communication technology develops, security is no longer limited to our real life and cybersecurity has naturally become more important than before. Therefore,it is of greater significance for us to know cybersecurity and to obtain cybersecurity-related knowledge. The source text is taken from the first two chapters of The Secret To Cybersecurity. The first chapter Cybercrime and the second chapter The Four Truth shared some typical cases of cybercrime with us,revealing the four truths of cybercrime, which is contributed to strengthen people’s awareness of cybersecurity and self-protection and to identify anomalies and malwares. The translation practice report consists of four parts: task description, process description, case analysis under the perspective of eco-translatology and the conclusion, among which the case analysis is the key part. The idea of multi-dimensional transformation in the eco-translatology is the main theory used in the case analysis. From the three dimensions of language, culture and communication, the cases are analyzed in detail. Methods like lexical conversion, division and restructuring, literal translation and addition are used in the process of translating.During the practice, the author deeply realized the importance of obtaining the relevant knowledge of cybersecurity and the use of modern translation tools. It is strongly proven that the theory of eco-translatology is practical and useful in translation.Through this practice, the author has obtained the knowledge of network security,re-learned the theory of eco-translation.After that, the author has gained stronger translation ability.
